Good growth w/ wrinkled leaves...

Im not sure what this might be.. i looked it up, and from what i can tell from the FAQs etc, this looks like a K deficiency due to high pH.
But my pH has been steady the entire time in the 5.5 -> 5.8 range...

I am using DIY Waterfarms w/ Flora Nova Grow nutes at 600ppm with a small dose of FoxFarms Kangaroots in there too...

any ideas on what else wrinkled leaves could be?

Looks a little wet ... you should have a little dryness an inch or so from the top. I've seen where they just aerate the roots & this brings up enough moisture to keep the Hydroton moist. The clay pebbles hold moisture & don't need to be too saturated.

well it is a waterfarm setup, thats how they work, drip ring from the top... if anything the leaves are a little dry and papery

Did you ever figure out that white afro fungus looking stuff? I've seen problems with Hydroton in young plants when it stays too wet. Once the roots are fully established it's good to go.

the white stuff in my last grow was powdery mildew, h2o2 cleared it up quick...

and i did just calibrate my pH meter @ 4.01 + 7, as well as bringing it to my local shop and having them check it out too =/

I had exactly the same symptoms with mine. My problem was too much moisture in the roots and possibly too much light too. Since I fixed both of these things at the same time I'm not sure which was the one causing the problem I'm afraid. How many watts are you using (actual wattage drawn rather than the quoted wattage) over what area?

If you don't want to give them less water then maybe aerating the water more would help?

The good news is it hasn't stopped them turning into beautiful plants...small, bushy, and very sturdy.

That's a good amount of growth in 5 days..... in a week those roots are gonna catch up to your system & there going to POP. They look nice & bushy, seem to be looking better in the latest photo.
