I'm off to cut my grasses. Regale me with stories of your yard work so that when I return I can read them and not feel so miserable. Any story will do. On the plus side its not raining!!

I used to landscape 10 hours a day monday through saturday. I seriously injured my back, and it hurts to bend down and plant 6 seedlings now.

Here's a story. Once at a job, this guy Rob I worked with ate a worm for a dollar. Another time he did the gallon challenge and spewed milk everywhere.

Fun times.

i do landscaping for work now.. i have a worker that was clearing an area to lay down some rock.. there was a pvc pipe sticking out of the ground. OBVIOUSLY it was there for some reason right? not in his mind... this fukr decides to grab it with both hands and rip the fukn thing out.. it wasnt easy either it took effort. 6ft pipe with a trench were it used to be... then he just throws it to the side nonchalantly and continues working while im sitting there fuking flabbergasted!... couldnt fukn believe it.. needless to say that dumbass was fired.

but then again for $10 per hour how much would you give a shit? probably wouldnt if you were making $200 a week for busting your balls in the direct sun for 8+ hours a day! i wouldve just thrown the shit down too... lol but then again i would have been smart enough to know that pipe was there for some reason. hahaha

I dug out a pond next to my house last year and lined it with the field stones I hand picked from the ground around it.

The pond is roughly 40x100' and the rock lining wraps around 3/4 of it and is 3ft deep. I was picking rocks for almost a week.

Mowing wise, I think my yard's around 8 acres and a lot of it's landscaped so it's a pain in the ass.

i dont mind smoking some weed and doing productive things, esp if its nice out. great satisfaction knowing you did something that looks good.

be happy your not surrounded by bambo like i am, now that is some serious work.

My best experience with yard work is when my father was wanting me to stop by his place and mow his lawn and trim his bushes...well in the end one of the bushes looked like a penis...im surprised i even got the right address... i was pretty lit up after smoking a few bowls out of my bong and rolling a nice fatty for the drive there

when i was a landscaper i had a really stupid labourer, we were putting a fence up so i marked on the ground where i wanted the holes, anyway i had to leave him on his own for 1/2 hour when i got back i found he had dug the first hole in the wrong place, i said to him why didn't you dig the hole where i marked it, he said in his defence "there was no mark" so i said "what made you did the hole there then DUH........:wall::wall:

Just got done mowing. Now I get to pull weeds from the rose beds and canna beds. My banana trees need repotted and I need to add stakes to a lot of the veggies (34 tomato plants alone, countless peppers, bush beans and anything else you could want). I'm tellin ya it never ends. I do landscaping for a living as well so I get to wake up tomorrow and do it for another week.

I used to love getting high and pulling weeds. The most mundane work becomes kind of enjoyable when I'm baked
