Green House coated seeds

OK, so i got a color pack from greenhouse and im a bit disappointed im hoping its just bad luck but want to see if you guys have had issues to. think it was the g pack, anyhow i planed on popping the widow read on hear use dirt not paper towel to pop so i did. the widow sat in promix for over week and a half before i checked it out. the coating was wet, i peeled it back and saw that it was not wet inside. so after removing the coating (was fairly easy since it was a lil damp, some was left on) i put them back in the dirt another week goes by the seed popped nothing came out.
chalk that up to error right
so defeated and feeling like i did something wrong after 10+ years of no seed related issues i decide lets pop the white rhino after all it is close to the one i wanted anyway. so i once again plop her in some nice promix make sure its nice and warm give her the star treatment. start getting worried on day 4 when all the other beans popped some having roots already. "be patient young padawan" i tell myself but at day 10 i decide to sift the dirt find my seed and see what is up. problem is there is no seed in my dirt. this cant be so, i then dumped the small amount of promix on my table spread it out thin and looked for anything that resembled a seed, nothing.

i know what your thinking im a dumb ass and dropped the seed. thing is i do my seed popping in a controlled clean room i use to inoculate mushrooms, looked all over that small room, nothing on the floor. has anyone had a phantom seed from them (ie. no seed just coating) and has greenhouse gotten to big. i know only 2 seeds but one was obviously bad genetics and the second was not there. im hesitant to waist my time to pop the other three and really i only wanted the two i already tried and the church. if the church wont pop ill will be really upset.

so recap
1) has anyone had issues with germing seeds from greenhouse with an emphasis on the coated seeds?
2) has a coated seed not had a seed in it for anyone else? wana see how often they mess up
3) are the normal packs better, did i get taken on the marketing?

thanks in advance
ps. i have been growing for about 12yrs now from seed never had issues with "good genetics" bag seed can go eather way but they are free. point is im not a novice so please dont tell me im the common denominator and i need to bring rh up and heat more or less, i had rh at 94% with the heating pad keeping it at 80f
thanks again guys and galls

Ok on a serious note I have seen nothing but low germination rates due to this coating , but this is a trait in general with there genetics .. Had a few packs of the Church that were bad as well but life goes on ...

look at the bright side, them not germing saved you 2 1/2 months of waiting to get same results. greenhouse sucks!

Germination guide for colored greenhouse seeds: http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/germination.html

you are supposed to soak the seeds for 12-24 hours, then the coating comes off before planting in soil.
thanks, didint see that when i ordered them, bout this time last year . i watched a video about the coating and the never said anything special about it so i figured the normal way should work.
still cant explain the phantom seed.

ill follow that to the tee for the next one i try

I don't care for GHS, I think they're the puppy mill of the cannabis industry.

Their Bubba Kush, White Rhino, and Church all hermed on me so friggin bad! Talkin nanners galore son! These were all next to plants from TGA, and Paradise seeds which showed no signs at all of stress/hermying. Was half a room of wasted time and energy, so I'll never crack their gear again regardless of decent prices compared to some... I suppose you get what you pay for in the end...

I think Arjan and his lackies are tools as well, but that's just personal opinion I suppose. Lots of people think Subcool is a tool as well but I find his gear prettty nice.

I had the same probelm with greenhouse seed the colored seeds I try two different ways and was disappointed with no green. :?:

Let's think about this for a sec, kushman420. Why would somebody put a color coating on there seeds? Hmmm, very interesting.
Here's the way I see it, Guy puts a fancy colored seed in a box 'cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside.
'Course it does. Why shouldn't it? Ya figure you put that little box under your pillow at night, then Arjan or franco might come by and leave a quarter, am I right, kushman420?

The point is, how do you know that arjan & franco are not crazy glue sniffers? "Building model airplanes" well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser, and your daughter's knocked up. I seen it a hundred times.

Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of shit. That's all there genetics are, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it color coated seeds, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product.
