Planning a grow room.

Looking to have about 3 square meters of growing space. I'm thinking ill need 3 lights with 9 plants under each light.

Light choices are obviously endless, what would you recommend and why?

get 6's they were meant for horticulture, 400s dont put out enough light for a real grow and 1000s actually put out a bit too much and you have to back them off, 600s imo are most efficient. imo they cover a 2x3 space

Do you know a good source for 600w ceramic metal halides? I find tons of hps and regular metal halide but cmh is harder to find, I did find 400w cmh at htg supply.

suppose i should say that 2x3 is relative to your hood, i use a cooltube, i feel 2x3 is best. most go with a little bigger, 4 plants per sqft is good for sog what i do

Yea I was planning more conventional with 9 plants in a space of 36"x36" 3 like that all side by side

In a lot of research from folks like riddleme3 and uncle Ben, riddle makes it sound like a 400cmh would outperform a 600hps.. Not for sure though, guess I can read those 170 pages again lol

its possible, i dont really care for the hps spectrum. if i could the same lumens per watt out of cfl that would be my prefrence..hps bleaches, i dont know why.ive never had cfl or mh bleach at much higher temps, and i dont think it was light intensity as to correct i have to raise the light so much they arent as dense...so yea a 400 cmh might be better, still try and get 600cmh though
