Growing an Autoflower out of my Fire Escape

I am currently growing a random Autoflower seed my friend gave me. I am in a recently legalized state in the East. I get great sunlight from 6am until about 3pm, then shade until about 830pm. I am growing in a 1 gal pot of some organic potting soil I found at Target. I think I might’ve sowed my germinated seed too deep. Roughly 1.5-2in. I’m on day 4 waiting for the bean to sprout.

Dig down with a tiny paint brush like your discovering dinosaur bones. You want to remove the soil around the seedling, without touching it. Start with a much bigger circle, and work your way in and down. I don't think you need to expose the whole seedling, just get the top at soil level, once it finds the light it should do the rest.

Don't dig the seed out. Just carefully remove some of the soil on the top. If you're careful you can remove it and hopefully find the top of a germinated seed trying to get out of the soil.
