if your chiles are anything like my chiles....I don't think you would want to breath it. I grow these pea size one that just SMOKE. Your fingers will burn from picking them. They're called chile piquins..."Bird Peppers". I use them for cooking. Toss a few in a pan of hot oil to spread the heat and be very careful to not smoke the oil. Made that mistake a couple of times and I had to leave the kitchen, seriously coughing and gagging.

Was out, looking at the girls....Greenie is really starting to shape up. Trichs popping up. She wasn't showing much before, but it seems like in two days, big changes for the betterer. It's 'sposed to be cold the next few days, but it isn't hard to muster a 75` in the sun. Everyone is outside getting a wind bath today. 20-30mph. Good for their circulatory systems. They're gonna need it, when the heat turns on.
mugan,
How do you keep your soil temps down in the greenhouse? You shade your pots? Or are you in the ground?

i think the skinny tall on is packing a lot of sativa traits so am thinking she will finnish 1/2 one month after this other one. funny nuff there from the same seed stock
,

bTW ABOUT HOW I KEEP THE SOIL COOL. well first i surrounded the spot i grow with black paper on the side the sun sets, so from 2 - 6 pm the sun is not direct. (hottest day temps are from 2:30 - about 4 ) then my pots are too big for 12/12 , so i fulled the soil up about 2 3rds and the rest is full of wood shavings . this way the sun does not heat up the soil .

you can see the shavings in this pic. in fact it might be the only reason there alive . cuz ive lost a lot of un mulched plants in my veggie garden and the rest are way more stunted .
View attachment 2074522

here is un upclose of the shavings, i moved em away soi you can see how deep but the pic is not as clear as ad like it to be.
View attachment 2074523

, and am trying to get a head start on the next season so i have planted some tomatoes and peppers , but for them to make it even past day one, the mulching has to be heavy

yep...just a matter of time.

them's lookin' nice!
I'm looking at white shit on the ground. Snow/sleet. Not a good day for my girls. A few had to stay out. They're covered and probably won't see any sun until tomorrow. The ones that are the same age as yours came in. Still haven't committed to flower. I think the bull's balls drew back up, too. Not seeing much for flower, there either. I guess he's gonna get cut if he doesn't get with the program...I'm running out of "slots". I can have 12 and need to make room.

Light leak? Nah...They are trying, no budlets forming. Just stretching.
...Our days are getting longer. If they finish, that's OK...if they go til Oct---better. Quality/quantity is much improved.
