Growing mushrooms is more profitable then weed!

Yes I know growing is misspelled!
with the same amount of space I use for my grow and a fraction of the electricity I could grow a couple pounds of mushrooms a month or harvest 8 ounces of weed every 2 months. I guess people will smoke more weed then eat mushrooms but still... Anyone else care to chime in?

Mushrooms are worse then weed, they are a different schedule than weed.
I was not aware that there was something worse than a schedule 1 drug in the US(I'm only assuming that's where he is). Either way, he's talking about moving some quantities that are not insignificant. Both would garner some bad legal repercussions.

If you are growing something to make money mushrooms might be the way to go. although they do sell for half if not less than half the price per gram compared to weed.

Most people on here grow so they can smoke good weed all the time. mushrooms are also a little harder to sell

you can do whatever catches your fancy thats just my 2cents

How is that any different than selling large quantities of pot?
I don't know. I just believe that the police, prosecutors, judges, guards, parole boards and others view the two drugs in different ways. I don't think that eating mushrooms is morally wrong, but I do believe that most of the mushrooms manufactured in clandestine labs end up in the hands of seriously addicted people. It takes a special kind of person to do that kind of work.

I used to hang with a guy who moved large quantities of shrooms. And he always sold poundage to the same few guys who lived in dope houses.

There's definitely a different perception towards shrooms. i was just saying that moving quantities of either is going to get more similar trouble than moving small quantities where you would probably be better off moving pot.

They grow fast, with less light...BUT they are about %400 more dangerous to grow for inexperienced mushroom growers.

Most mush growers can't recognize the difference between healthy shrooms and the THOUSANDS of other types of mold/mildew/fungus that would love to grow in your shrooms medium.

Unless you built yourself a Hospital quality clean room you will have some bad batches.

So, let's say that you grow some shrooms. You sell them to a middleman. The middleman sells some to a guy who is under 18 years old. He decides to pass a few out at a party. A sixteen-year-old girl, inexperienced with shrooms, downs a couple. An hour later, she rips her clothes off in a panic and runs across the Freeway at 2:30 in the morning. She is struck by a car and killed instantly. During the investigation, the police start tracing the shrooms back to their source. A year later, they knock on your door and arrest you ... not for growing shrooms. Not for drug dealing. Nope ... the charge is SECOND DEGREE MURDER.

The story above is a true one. Perhaps you had better think things through a bit.

I have gone picking too and it is really easy to id the correct one, in my 2 years of picking I have never picked a bad one.

....You buy spores, and you inoculate a medium. You have to sterilize the medium (usually vermiculite) with a pressure cooker. Now the hard part where you can get contamination is when you inject your spores into the jars to inoculate them. The medium your growing the mushroom on is the PERFECT conditions to grow any type of other mold or mildew. And as you should know, since you think Im wrong, theres mold/mildew spores present in the air constantly.

You have to be VERY careful when growing mushrooms. I have seen jars go bad first hand, its not pretty. It starts off with a slight green tinge, and it can be EXTREMELY dangerous to your health.

You might want to do a LOT more research before trying to grow shrooms....

Picking is WAY different, I pick wild mush every year. Once you know what to look for its not hard at all, you have to be a moron to pick a bad mushroom. But growing is a whole different game.

Buddy I am growing mushies. I have 9 trays right now, 2 are colonized and I cased them a few days ago and the others are coming along. I had 50 jars 20 with BRF and 30 with WBS, I had 4 of the BRF jars contam and only 1 of the WBS. I spawned to coco coir and verm with instant coffee and karo syrup and I cased or will case with 50/50 peat moss and verm with some calcium carbonate. I know what I'm doing. You make it seems like random mushrooms are gonna pop up up in my bulk substrate.

Where did I say anything about random mushrooms popping up?

Contaminated jars dont grow different mushrooms. They grow regular, contaminated mushrooms.

I said it was more dangerous to grow mushrooms for inexperienced growers and you said I dont know what Im talking about....

I wasn't attacking you or saying you are wrong, chill out man.
