hamilton beach trueair carbon filter

I bought 2 of these things at bed bath and beyond for $10 each. They are carbon filters and replacement carbon filters cost $12 for 3.
Ill let you know how well they work.
 
Ive been using one exactly the same from the home depot i bought for 12 dollars it works great because i have 5 plants in a 1 bedroom apartment. I have been using mine for about 3 weeks now and my flowers are on their 6th week of flowering with a 250W HPS. say it removes like 80% of the odor in my opinion i give it a A-

80% is pretty good what kinda strain you got i want to know to see how well it would remove super skunk odor cuase from what ive seen and read its a really smelly plant.
 
120 days is descent, but you can build a carbon filter with replacement charcoal for fairly cheap and it will work 100% and last two grows or so

ive seen carbon filter posted on here by ryoko or w/e is tht what you talking about?
 
its based on the idea of the can filter if thats what you mean, i dont remember who did it but it is in the FAQ and DIY it think. it works really well and comes highly recomended
 
Im in week 4 of veg. so i have not flowered yet. No smell so far, so I havent even plugged them in yet. But, if they work a real cheap carbon filter.
Im also hoping for girls.
 
i have sour diesel, OG kush, SNoCap , Critical mass and Purple urkle. mine works great cuz i have them in a small space.
 
By the way the smell had begun until I plugged this thing in. Best $10 ever Spent and probably cheaper than any other home built carbon filter. Absolutely worked within hours of plugging it in. Go try one. Bed beth and beyond $10.
 
What's up growers - So, those Hamilton Beach True Air things work pretty well?? Have you guys ever tried the little "Fabreze" carbon filter/fans? Same deal, I think.... Almost exactly the same, from what I can tell. I'm using one for about 6 plants/hydro, and it works better than I had ANY right to expect! I was actually using it to help prevent my idiotic Nicotine addiciton from harming my babies too much, and lo and behold, it stopped ALOT of the smell. Growing Bubblicious, though, so, not too much stank to deal with. Going 12/12 any day now, so... we'll see how effective it really is! Anyone else use these silly little Fabreze air cleaners?>>>>>>PEACE!
 
Yeah the febreeze filters are the same thing just a night light on top. They use the same filters. exact same thing with the "febreeze" marketing name
