The Eggnog is perfect ( 2 oz Myers Light rum, 2 oz Courvoisier cognac, 2 oz Jameson 20 year old Irish whiskey & 3 oz of the eggnog miixture and to finish a cinnamon stick to stir & sip thru.
Next a pipe stuffed with some Trainwreck for now (some Chonic later & for dessert after the goose, a few white chocolate brownies baked with around 1oz AK47

I cooked the Christmas dinner la day and everyone's been well fed and watered lol
I ate that much I'm like a busted sofa!
We're resting up for an hour or two then the real party begins.......

There'll be fun and laughter, singing and shouting, therell be a fight, someone will probably get a dig in the bake, the police will arrive, a riot will ensue, cs gas deployed, arrests made. A normal Christmas Hooley in our house then......!

Had to save the hard stuff until after the sun went down.

We have the girlfriends family coming tomorrow and my kid just left …… time to get to work 150 ready just in time for the cooking of the Boxing Day breakfast .

It was a nice day. Took my kid hiking and hung out eating cake and candy and such. I hated the entire season for many years but it's much more pleasant and enjoyable nowadays trying to bring joy happiness to others.

I wanted to wait until the day was over to say how nice it is to not have a domestic terrorist event on Christmas.

Nice job Go Biden.

The family is going back to the midwest, sucks, they don't want to go. It's really nice for a day or so, then I get lonely.

It's really embarrassing that I had to explain let's go Brandon to my child. He has permission to curse at adults and tell them they are stupid if he hears it, or hopefully he goes with some variation of "I agree, he's doing great" as that was explained as the better response.

Really shouldn't have to prep a 9 year old for the stupid bullshit they are going to have to overhear and have said to them.

Had a great meal with local family yesterday followed by a Zoom call with others spread across the country. We're going to start doing video calls all the time.

Just finished a breakfast of leftover ham and eggs and am looking forward to finishing off the rib roast and potatoes au gratin later for dinner later.

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday as much as I did.
