So my 2 plants are at the end of the 8th week of Flower. The trichomes are pry 80/20 cloudy to amber. But only 50-60% of the hairs are red and curled. I was planning to harvest tomorrow or should I wait??? Also I read and watched a lot of videos. Is budwashing really worth it. Thanks.

Wait til a a majority of pistils have colored and receded. This is an indicator of calyx maturity not just triches.

Some plants will push out new white pistils constantly, while the trichs mature as normal - especially if they are foxtailing. It comes down to genetics.
I would heavily weight trichome status when deciding when to harvest... and I would harvest those plants if they are 80% cloudy and 20% amber - the cannabinoids are degrading.
