Has anyone ever made a real life friend on RIU?

theres a guy on here i chill with every week or so that lives in my town, used to be great friends with his girlfriend back in highschool. matter of fact i should give him a call now lol

There actually have been some RIU get togethers I believe. I think there was a BB-Q in Dec. in CA. I don't live anywhere near there so I was not at the party. But I think I remember seeing a thread...I feel that even though I have not met anyone in person, I have made some 'real life' friends though. Great peeps here.

thats what my dream is! i used to have love bringing people over to get stoned with. problem is they started unrolling their nastyness in the house. dude thats what hike and walks are for. leave out there. id chill with anyone here and the bud is on ME!

And I don't like talking on the phone.

It depends what state you're in.
In Cali you can meet people here easy.
Other country people like to talk on the phone to each other from here,
And in Colorado, and a lot of the legal and illegal US, I wouldn't even TRY to make real life friends on here, unless you want to go to jail to make friends...
 
i have a few people that i've met on here that i now talk to away from the site, but have yet to meet any of them in the real world..

i'd have no problem doing so if those people lived anywhere near me..

just use your head and listen to your gut, and if it don't feel right, it's not..
