Here are a couple methods of hash making. I used shitty materials for all videos and pictures. Except for one set of pictures, you WILL be able to tell the difference, which just goes to show.
You get out, what you put in.
If you buy a $15oz, you hash isn't going to be pretty...But here are the methods

do acetone extractions always come out that dark? looks like tar
Always. I mean, I guess there is a possibility of refilitering and refiltering, again and again. But if you go straight from bud, through 1 filter, you're going to come out with something like what I got :D

my favorite method. im surprised it looks so good, dry ice is one of the easier extractions to do but hard to get a good look without being skimpy on the return.
That just happened to be homegrown sugar leaves. And homegrown trim is always as good as the best dispensary sugar leaves. When there is ZERO transport, bud always has the nicest trichs.

true, but homegrown? do you mean like unknown strain homegrown? there are variances that will be expressed depending on the strain, trich size, chemical content, taste, i would say those are important things, but a pure extraction is a pure extraction, regardless of starting material if you do it well it will always be better than average. cause ive seen some amazing hash come from brick, its just not as easy as when you got nice material to start with.

It is an unknown strain. Grown from brick weed seeds.

That acetone extraction brings back memories.

I've seen that made maybe 15 years ago, though with buds, not just trim, and cooked carefully(!) outdoors on an electric hot plate to control temps. The stuff came out so dark green it looked black, and it had the consistency of thick honey, or tar.

This was before there were "dabs" and "dabbers".

You'd take a drop of this stuff on a pinhead, smear it on the inside of a glass pipe, and then cook the outside of the pipe with a lighter to vaporize it. The hit would be so smooth, you'd barely taste anything, and then ten seconds later you'd be so high you were practically tripping.

On your "reggie" grow. . .yeah, those plants can be pretty good. See the Mexican grow in my sig below for a short grow report using ceeds from circa 2000 brick bagseed.

I always just added the oil on top of bowls, it hits hard as fuck and makes you cough, but it's good shit :D

You are confusing "how to"with what not to do.
