Have you ever been in an accident?

A few years ago I was in an accident with a school bus that was in a little rush.

The driver took off from a stop cutting off traffic causing me to T-bone him then get run over by the rear tires.

I was extremely lucky and happened to have all my gear on that day so I suffered only bruises and walked out of the hospital within hours of the accident.

The video was taken from a surveillance camera on one of the nearby businesses.

In first grade my teacher wouldn't let me go to toilet about half hour after lunch finished... I had an accident...

Knocked me out cold for an hour and a half. Woke up strapped to a board inside a machine.

did you get some $$ ?

Had to fight it in court for 2 years but finally got $24,000, which wasn't much after the medical bills and the cost of my bike.

The first officers on the scene blamed it on me. I found the video.

I have been in a few vehicle accidents... nothing that bad tho...

The worst one was a single vehicle accident with me alone at 18 showing off being a dickhead... Took half a day to get the Utes 4 tires back on the ground...

Thank the great good spirit...I had a low low... 84 Cutlass supreme, patterned out paint, daytons, draulics, rebuilt all around n got ran off the road went over a tall curb n into a pole... Been in a few accidents all but one weren't my fault... A dude stopped in front of me...

I T-boned and 88 year old man last year in my truck. He ran a stop sign and I hit him going about 35. Fucked my shins up. He was driving a small toyota. His 89 year old wife was in the car with him, she was ok. The old man was all bloody from the glass. I don't know what happened to him. My truck was declared totaled.

my dad's car was hit when I was 6 on my way to the dr's office. His car was kinda messed up, and he didnt get any injuries, but because i was in the front seat not sitting properly, I ended up with my head under the dash board and my feet all tangled up in seatbeat, and a huge goose egg on my head. but no concussion thank god

I was in one fairly serious accident. I was driving my Bimmer to work, minding a plumber's truck that might or might not be taking the onramp to the expressway. There was a light just before it, and it was green. Some slightly dotty lady in an S10 blazer waltzed through the intersection, through her red light. I saw her much too late filling my windscreen ... mind you the M3 has GREAT tires&brakes but it wouldn't do. I T-boned her, and our combined vehicular collage slid into a lamppost and dropped the traffic light onto the expressway. Took eleven grand to fix the Bim. Thanks to an eyewitness who spoke up, it was not my fault, and the other lady's insurance covered everything. car was out of commission for 50 days! Best car I ever owned, even though I drove it very gently. Once in a while I liked to let the dogs bark getting onto the 280 ... great onramps. cn

The best part was this: while I was waiting for the police to arrive, I stood on the bridge over the expressway just staring at this traffic light sitting in the right lane. despite the morning rush, folks were good about driving around it. A cop showed up to block the lane. he was slowing and had just turned on his disco lights. Some suit in a Lexus decided that he was gonna make it before the cop closed the lane, did a smooooth swoop around the cop, then drove RIGHT over the traffic light. Those things are big and made out of serious-gauge sheet metal. He gutted his car ... there were transmission bits in the road. cn

Been in a ton of accidents. Driver and passenger. Had a wreck one time riding passenger leaving a bar with a buddie. he had another buddie's Celica gt and I encouraged him to race a car next to us, which he did. We lost control at about 110mph on the highway. Luckly we were going up hill on a straightaway. A few 360 spins slowed us down enough that the side of the hill did not hurt to bad when we hit it. we actually all got out and ran before the cops got there, Intense night. Then there was the time when i was passenger, and the guy driving was going down these backroads all crazy...I asked him to slow down, since I had been in a couple wrecks already. He notified me that HE was not one of these idiots around here that cant drive....then ran straight into a barn, and plowed into some farm machinery. I got out and ran that time as well...so did he. Then once when I was driving (drunker than monkey balls) and had a car full of people. One guy was actually sober, and I dont know why they did not drive...but I ran the car head first into a telephone pole. When I woke up people were outside the car with broken bones, and bleeding. They notified me the cops were coming and I should get out. I took off running but my ankle was broke and I ended up at some house in the middle of nowhere, bleeding and injured. An old couple took me in (febuary mind you). When I woke up I was handcuffed to a wheelchair....ughh...I dont miss those days....bleak times.

I am a freakin mess if I am sitting passenger now. I dont care if my grandma is driving, my knuckles stay white.

I've been in a few car accidents, one was a close call but no one was injured. I was crossing a highway and a car coming over a hill and going way too fast clipped the rear end of my car. His front driver side tire caught my rear bumper and ripped his whole tire off causing both of us to go spinning down the freeway into traffic. When the police arrived the guy admitted he was going over the speed limit and had three dogs in the back he was yelling at at the time. Both insurance companies said we were shit out of luck because we were both ticketed, me for failure to yield and him for inattentive driving.

ive never been in an accident ina cage yet...if you dont count me backing my truck up into my buddies car lol

Yep, I was hit head on by a drunk driver. I was so close to home I could see that the front porch lights were on. The car buckled in two and they had to cut me out of it. When EMS asked me who was the president I hadn't the foggiest idea and I wasn't high. And the memory loss wasn't from unbridled senior sex either.

I feel blessed that I'm here and I'm sure you do too.

Not too long before the accident I posted I was following a car that slammed on it's brakes in a construction area and my bike slid sideways then caught clean pavement throwing me for a high side toss and I ended up on the trunk and the bike was jammed under the rear of the car.

I had a car catch fire in the parking lot of a male strip club. After the tow truck came and got the car I called my brother for a lift and he showed up with my mother!

Does that count? That's kinda like a wreck. Try explaining that one to a upset red headed mother.

brake happy people suck when your on a bike...i almost put mine down one night after some dude lane changes without warning and hammers on the brakes like an idiot, i had to brake quick and the front tire hit the painted line, slid and put a huge skidmark in my underoos. Thats what i love about riding, you can have adrenaline at 165 mph, or just at 25 mph

when i rear ended the car it was my fault....was doin a burnout and let the brake go like a moron...hit the car in front and fell over..was pretty funny and no damage to the car..so the ladt let it slide...it cost me a mirror a turn signal and some scratches
