Look, I don't make shit up. I don't know what happened with those emails. I do know that Sanders isn't running for prez and that the FBI didn't find evidence of criminal act. You can make up whatever you like. I'll continue to stick to the side where reality can be found.
Yes, the FBI did find evidence. The Director just said he wasn't sure he could get a conviction. Code for he's sure she did it, but he likes his job.

Two different fucking Russian state security services released the classified emails THEY STOLE FROM THE SERVER.

The point is that no matter what our government says, the reality of the situation is usually a different story.

She won't be prosecuted. She will likely be president. I get all that.

It's still a corrupt system from start to finish and that's not really up for serious debate, now is it?

Ok, sanity check here,

Do you really know it was Russian state security services that released anything? I've seen all sorts of stuff out on the web but nothing that can be verified. Some hacker named guccifer has posted stuff. I glanced at it and the stuff posted was mundane. I couldn't tell if it was real or made up. From fact check dated June 22nd:
  • Trump falsely claimed that the private server that Clinton used as secretary of state “was easily hacked by foreign governments.” Attempts were made to hack into Clinton’s server, but the identity of the hackers has not been determined and there has been no evidence to date that any of them were successful.
Do you have better sources?

Regarding the FBI investigation, I'm not a lawyer. Are you? What Comey, the head of the FBI said to the House Congressional Oversight Committee:

Comey insisted again that Clinton "did not break the law" and that there was not enough evidence to charge her with a crime.
"That's just the way it is," Comey said. "Folks can disagree about it."

So now you are voting for somebody who isn't even running for president, quoting Trump and siding with the Republican Congress regarding the e-mail scandal. As I would say to our Republican wingnuts, I say to you that hatred is not a justification for convicting Hillary.

And its not a corrupt system from start to finish.

And Bernie is voting for Hillary.

Citation for your assertion that the system isn't completely corrupt? The headlines are full every day of scandals and ongoing corruption, and the oligarchs walking on water while getting away with murder.

Wasn't there a study published recently that said there was only a one in 77 billion chance that Mrs Clinton's campaign WASN'T rigged? You've seen it, too.

And kindly stop misrepresenting my choice of candidate. I don't hate Mrs Clinton. I do not think she represents my best interest in Washington. The article I posted articulated my views pretty well; I'm not a 90th percentile earner, and so her brand of incrementalism isn't what I think me or the country needs.

So she was nominated through a corrupt system. She's corrupt. What's left?

Honestly dude, I disagree with you about the state of this country. I've been saying it to you for some time now. I find no evidence to back your claims.

In my opinion, I don't think the system is corrupt from top to bottom. I don't need a citation for that, it is my opinion, like your opinion about the best way to squander your protest vote.

And I'm not some cynical hipster wannabe. I think cynicism is the easy way to go through life. I don't think Bernie would cast his vote for Hillary if she were as bad as you say. I don't think the director of the FBI is disingenuous about the results of his department's investigation. I also think Obama has been a very good president and that Hillary might be better. But only if the left stay engaged in the process. If the left abandon the process we will have a steady march to the right. Because politicians follow the votes. Because the system is not entirely corrupt.

I'm not going to repeat what I said about that lengthy bit of text you posted on another thread. If you want to talk more about it, say it there.

That's my idea of an exaggeration.
Ok, which of the points listed is untrue or an exaggeration?

The democratic nomination was stolen. The country is run by the influence of money, which is corruption even if it has been legalized by corrupt politicians.

Therefore, we don't live in a democracy; it's oligopoly for the rich and for the rest of us peons, it's poverty and fascism.

You try to deny these facts and you end up sounding like the right wingers here; shrill and wrong.

I believe in the American people. I'm not certain I believe we'll actually stand up and demand our country back.

@abandonconflict seems to be adopting the tactics of the oppressor by constantly repeating things, browbeating those who don't agree with him and picking out a disagreeable detail from an article and complaining about that instead of addressing the subject of the piece.

Sad, really. Both of you.

Ty, you exaggerate and I point it out. Is that browbeating? Did the oligarchy want Obama to win in 2008? Wouldn't they prefer Jeb in this term? In my state, we introduced an initiative to raise taxes on corporations. The money will be used to rebuild infrastructure. Would that be something the Oligarchy wants? I don't see the hand of the Oligarchy as all-powerful. Am I browbeating you by saying that? Am I being shrill by telling you that politicians follow the vote -- that's what happened in the first decade of this millennium when the democratic party's left stopped voting, ceding power to the right. Because the system is not entirely driven by money. And it is not entirely corrupt.

Just look at this board or the newspapers or online media and you will see that practically nobody agrees with much of what you say. Not that this means you are entirely wrong. It's just that there are as many different opinions on what needs to be done going forward as there are people in this country. Collectively, nobody gets all they want. It's my goal to ensure the fascist right get very little of what they want. By doing so, I'm not going to get everything I want. That's what happens in large democracies.

Finally, I don't respect throwing your vote away on somebody who isn't even running. Was that shrill? Who's being shrill here anyway?

Which item in the graphic above is untrue? Don't weasel word, tell us which one doesn't happen in today's America?

The article I posted was about how the democratic party represents the top ten percent of democrats by income, who are by and large satisfied with their incrementalism. The other 90% of the country is being destroyed and no matter who they vote for, their party abandons them in favor of the money even before the votes are counted. Just this year the middle class now makes up less than half of the country and poverty has grown.

That isn't shrill, that's seeing the picture the facts paint. I'm looking a little further down the road than you are and seeing the coming disaster and saying something about it. Again- not shrill, just painting the picture as I see it.

And I get to vote for whoever I fucking well please, and I give not one tinker's damn if you 'respect' it. Why? Because in your case you're voting for someone who does not represent your interest, "because Chump!" It's not a popularity contest.

Does it bother you that much when I say I don't respect you voting for somebody who isn't even running? Just like you hammer away at me for choosing to cast my vote as Bernie will, choosing to support Hillary so that the fascist GOP don't run things? Turnabout, dude.

The Meme you posted is not wrong, it is an exaggeration. It is an overwrought and narrow view of the status of our society and makes a point using exaggeration. It's only a little better than some of the Communist Pravda posters of the past. That you think it is somehow revealing or stunningly significant is laughable.

Over the past 8 years, employment has improved, wages have gone up and the nation has not, as right wingers so loudly called for, escalated its war on terrorists in the middle east by landing another occupation army. Much better situation now than Obama began with. Did you think that all the damage wrought by the GOP during the Bush War era was going to change or even can change overnight?

So, when you voice rage that the entire system is corrupt, what do you propose I do? I can't agree. Should I just put you on ignore because of your tirades?

I went back and read my earlier post just in case I missed the tone that I wanted to put forth. I still think that I'm not the shrill one here. I'm not even the thin skinned one.

The sureness court has upheld RICO and asset forfeiture in the face of mounting evidence that it's made police departments corrupt across the country.

Recently the sane body upheld decisions that said the police did not have to understand the law they're enforcing.

Again recently, another decision upheld their ability to use evidence gained illegally to prosecute.

That adds up very clearly to the ever accelerating erosion of our rights under the Constitution, and of the increasing overreach of the Federal Government.

Which of the items on that list don't happen every day in this country? Militarization of police? Child snatching? Excessive use of force? Go on... Name one. Lol

If you don't see what I'm seeing, then I pity you. But don't call me shrill just for disagreeing with you.

Russia released the emails that two different espionage agencies stole from her compromised server.

Yet the FBI didn't find anything.

And we're supposed to think there's no corruption in government.

The arrogance of power is breathtaking sometimes.
Released it to whom? Wikileaks perhaps? I checked there, nothing. Maybe some torrent or usenet sites? Nope, nothing.

Where are the released emails? At Fox News headquarters? Yea, I'm guessing they're there.
