help lost my light need to go into flowering NOW

need help my plans are about 4feet tall now and i want to start flowering problem is my light has decided to set on fire and overheat, fucking ebay crap lol anyeays i cant really afford to but a ny light kit as they can be expensive so was wondering if there was a different way to get them into flowering without the light kit

or any other help would help alot thanks

If you were in the Us I could have shipped you a brand new 1kw halide warehouse ballast for under $100. I bought way more than I can use. In the UK you're screwed though it would be too much to ship something heavy like this.

You have to buy a new light though, you have no other choice because outdoors you'd have a lot of problems with mold etc and or theft/ police.

Tough luck MKnight, until you can get a new light - If you have a private outdoor spot - you could move them outdoors, and then back into a dark place at the appropriate time each day. Just be careful acclimating them to the midday sun, or they will go into shock.

You could use 20 cfls and get 10 y splitters

Either CFL's or take them outdoors and then indoors for a 12/12 schedule but just like Green Cross said be careful with the biggest light of all... the sun!!!
