HELP!!!!

Mars Hydro ts-1000. I’ve noticed the tips of the lower 1/2 are browning/yellowing. Only a couple up top barley have it. What’s wrong?? It’s starting to make its way up to the higher leaves.

I see pre flowers and switched to 1/4 bloom nutes. And tapering off on veg.

2ml tiger bloom
2ml bud
3ml cal mag
5ml My Weed Minerals

Pineapple Auto (growers choice)
Light: 18/6
ph:5.9
RH 52%
temp: 75f
Soil: fox farms ocean Forrest

Lower leaves will generally fade quicker then the top if the plant is hungry, looks like you might have been a couple days late on feeding. No big deal plants look overall healthy otherwise. Keep an eye on the soil pH as well. The yellowing on the tips could be a minor nute burn but honestly I dont think you have to much to worry about.

I wish I had more to add but im sure there are alot more experienced growers on here that would be glad to add there input.

Cheers mate, good luck.

I would take the time to adjust your pH...you're running a hydro pH when you should be running a soil pH which is consequently closer to 6.5. Otherwise, you'll continue to see issues. This would be my first step before doing anything else; dialing in my pH. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick reply. That all makes sense. Honestly I’ve been feeding every 2-3 days because the pot dries out and I wait until that point. Really appreciate it, thanks.

Is there a quick way test? I have a soil ph/moisture meter that poke down inside the soil but the gauge is kinda BS. It shows 6.5-6.7. Is there a “test kit” or something more accurate a local store might have? I can check Home Depot maybe. Thanks for your input

You can find pH test kits at HD, Lowes, Walmart...but their accuracy leaves a bit to be desired. It may be at least a starting point for you until you can get something more accurate. Good luck.

For the past 2 days the leaves have looked droopy one the upper 1/2. The lower leaves look a little healthier. Would this be a phosphorus deficiency? Slightly dark/light leaves. I raised my light to 18” from the main top. Looked great 2 days ago after feeding, but I only fed with ph water and some My Weed Minerals.

To check your soil ph. Water to runoff and check the runoff. If the runoff is low you'll have to water with a higher ph next time. If your runoff is 5.9 ph I would water with 6.9 ph next time. Should come out at 6.5 ph. Always a good idea to water to runoff so you don't get salt buildup in the soil. Just about 10 -15%
