well you can only grow for so long before you will eventually get caught its inevidable
one thing is growing a couple plants for personal use other is growing bragging about selling pounds ?????how really stupid can one be ?????
one thing thats got me really thinking obviously DEA infiltrated RIU thats where the whole thing starts really from here
If i was RIU i be a little worried about the outcome and i think its not near being finished either yet
Is RIU sweating i would think so cause if any sales or drug dealing was done on this site could be grounds to revoke licensing agreement on internet theres prob a lot of shit going to hit the fan very soon
That's like blaming craigslist because someone sold some stolen sh*t! Not gonna happen!

It looks like they should get bail after the 28th of Feb. Hopefully soon we will all be able to get the story straight from the "horses mouth"
I'm gonna have a big hug for all them at the 420 BBQ!

peace

Keep in mind that just because the police told that to a reporter, that doesn't make it true. Cops do things like this as a method of getting information. We have no idea what's really going on.
Granted. The only thing speculation does is create more speculation.

Take it from someone who used to deal with the media on a daily basis............they get it wrong more often than they get it right.;-)

If you still think FDD got KMK arrested did you read this quote from the blog directly "One informant was paying nearly $4,000 a pound for the drug and was racking up debts of $20,000, $30,000 or up to $50,000 to the pair." I think it's funny no one commented on this.

Also "are accused of moving hundreds of pounds of high-grade marijuana to Illinois." Obviously they had them doing multiple deals which is how this works and the informant was buying from the pair which happen to be a male and female. Just food for thought I leave you with.

HMMM I think someone needs to take a toke and chill. YOU need to use your head, FDD had a lot of plants himself. However grow cycles take time, even when your rotating crops, that's why when people go commercial they often partner so that money is constantly coming in. If your not aware of these things you will never understand, take it from someone with experience with this.

This is from an earlier bust in October, same operation.

PEORIA —

Two people at the top of a marijuana trafficking ring pleaded guilty Thursday in Peoria's federal court.
Noah Persin, 40, of Eugene, Ore., and Benjamin Gordon-Schlosberg, 24, of Urbana each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and face up to 20 years behind bars.
In all, 14 people were indicted and three, including Persin and Gordon-Schlosberg, have pleaded guilty. The arrests were part of Operation Western Green, a joint federal-state effort against marijuana in the region.
According to a criminal complaint, the drug ring extended from Macomb to Bloomington to Urbana and to Carbondale. One informant was paying nearly $4,000 a pound for the drug and was racking up debts of $20,000, $30,000 or up to $50,000 to the pair.
Both men, however, were linked to less than 100 kilograms or 200 pounds of the drug.
Both are to be sentenced in February, said Persin's attorney, Ron Hanna Jr.
They remain free on bond pending sentencing.

So I think that paragraph was crudely added in reference to the entire operation, not the Cali bust.

Same here. They'll twist a story and take it out of context to make a point or support an agenda. I was interviewed by the local paper once. They had an agenda they wanted and sensationalized headlines. They didn't tell MY story, they took a few quotes and put them in a different context. The actual interview versus the end story told two completely different tales.

Far as the guv'ment and the feds, it's all about propaganda and how THEY want things to appear, not the real story

It's more info than any other has given in this thread.

Just because you THINK it's a lie doesn't make it true.

From what I read, KMK was arrested because of fdd.
That doesn't make what you read accurate. Cops will do whatever they can to put it out there someone is snitching in order to get the other people involved to talk to them.

believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

some of you seem to be ready to sentence him to life already based on an article and a e-grudge. if i am not mistaken, timeismoney and bonehead bob had e-orgasms and seem giddy with joy about an unsubstantiated article.

we got some petty, heartless assholes on here for sure.

We have some nieve cockknocks also

He still snitched, thats a lowlife POS in my book. I dont know how you play your game...
nieve?

i think you mean "naive". as in, you are so naive that you believe fdd snitched because of a blog post on an article.

the post doesn't even say that anyone snitched. the way i read it was that an informant got to one person through the other before anyone knew they were dealing with an informant, which is much different than snitching.

but do carry on with your raging hate-boner and almighty internet grudges while a man in real life sits incarcerated and his family suffers for a victimless crime.

If someone really wants to find out the specifics, they can find it out offsite as GWN stated. But AFAIK the policy here is to NOT post real names, especially with such a sensitive issue as this. Plus, it's a matter of respect

Good ol UB, always stirring the pot, starting trouble.

You best behave or Bricktop will turn you upside down again and shake all the money out of your pockets.

Thank you for correcting the spelling, UB. Fwiw, nieve is the Spanish word for snow.
