Help need to decide on hydro setup for next grow....

So my soil grow will be ready to harvest in the next few days. I took a little time off growing and decided to stick with dirt this last run. I started germinating a couple seeds (hippie killer, Skunk x NL, and mix freebie seeds from attitude not sure what it is). My grow area is limited to my closet which is 2x4x8 and using 400w HPS. I have done ebb and flow and drip systems before...have a couple pumps, air stones, 2x2 tray for ebb/flow. I was leaning toward a small DWC or RDWC (DIY) and thinking two plants in that area in 5 gallon buckets and SCROG. I was also thinking of maybe going ebb/flow with 4 in more of a SOG grow. I am a little worried about timing with summer coming, my closet is in a room that gets a lot of sun and higher temps in summer. I am worried about my res temps, doing some experiments and my water is around 75 after it sits for a few days in the room which ranges from 76-82 right now depending on ambient temps. Thinking if maybe I get setup with a DIY RDWC it might be more manageable to cool the res as opposed to two individual buckets in DWC. I may just wait on trying a DWC type system until fall/winter when I know I have cooler temps. Thought I would run it by you guys (and gals) and see what you might suggest.

thanks!

Thanks for the reply....wanted to run something by you on a DWC setup. Part of my worries is keeping a cool res temp. I was going to switch and have lights on at night to help. I built a 5 gallon bucket and its ready to go. I was thinking I will probably need to do the frozen water bottle thing as well. I starting thinking of running a (3) 5 gallon bucket system each bucket connected to each other one being just a res. I could cool that with the frozen water bottles and top off (add water) from that bucket to disperse to the other two as to not disturb the roots. Pretty simple, but then I starting seeing a RDWC and I do have a pump I can use. I see some use it to push water through the system and other use it as a combo drip system DWC. I would love to have two pants going instead of just one and having individual buckets seems like it may be more of a hassell. I am also wondering if it is a bad idea to share water through the system like that? If one plant has root rot or issues would it effect the other if they share the same water between buckets?
