I had a quick question(question at end) I can't seem to get a answer for. I am a beginner grower in his first grow, so heres the issue and question. Plants are 1 month old, only 1 of 6 is sick. Soil Runoff PH was 7.3 and I feed on and off at 6.3 so I believed its getting locked out. PPM in runoff was 4800 ( ouch ) I flushed it with PH water of 6.3 till PPM read about 750 ish no but no change in PH of the runoff. I decided to try to lower to PH of the soil using aluminum sulphate I bought from the store. My normal water PH is 8.3 so I always PH to 6.3 before giving to plants. This tap water that has NOT been PH,d to 6.3 turned out to be 4.4 with the aluminum sulphate in it. I added it asap since flush was last night but added it slowly. On the label it says 3/5 tsp per L of water so I used 4, my target soil PH is at least below 7 but the runoff from the 1 L watering left PH 4.4. My question is do I PH the water to 6.3 after, before or at anytime with the added aluminum sulphate before adding it to soil to attempt a 1 point drop?
