help w/identifying apollo hps/mh and hps only ballast

so i bought 2 complete light kits from a guy on amazon as they were decent deals. 195.00 + shipping. they were for digital mh/hps dimmable ballast, 6" cool tube w/xl hood/reflector, timer, light pulleys, mh/hps bulbs 600w's. both my ballasts i got are different. size, end cap colors, model numbers, dimmer knob.

these are the model numbers for the 2 ballasts.
1. model number NB-HPS/MH 600W
2. UHPS-D600 for use with 1ANSI S106 600W bulb

the shipper insists its a dual ballast (the 2nd one is the ballast in question). i beg to differ since the stamping on the end cap does NOT indicate a anywhere a MH lettering.

the seller has offered a full refund on the one light kit, but all i want is the correct ballast, not a new kit. hopefully monday ill hear more. so if your familiar with apollo dual ballasts or can shed some light on this issue, please help me out.

they work for both just revieved 2 from amazon. no mh setting, ive used both bulbs and they work fine

i have 2 of the yellow and purple ones, got them 2 weeks ago, virtual sun bulbs r great

thanks, im very close to turning on the light, just need to finish up some small stuff and some tweaking. i didnt want to put a mh bulb in the hos ballast in question and have the ballast poop out or catch fire and burn down my condo. i just noticed the markings the other day.

yes sir evem used 50 percemt with mh bulb. find the fans to be a bit loud. 115 evah shipprd from amazon

im running 2 440cfm fans for the 2 6" cool tubes, and 1 440cfm fan for my monster carbon scrubber. those are LOUD. lol ill be building something to quiet them down with the help from legallyflying, he gave me a few tips on sound deadening for fans. im sure the little fans on the ballasts cant be all that bad. i havent plugged them in yet. just deciding on how/where to mount them will be another story. mounting them on a sheet of 3/4" mdf then mounting to basement wall, mounted directly to basement wall, mounted on wire rack mounted to basement wall. so many options.
