I like reading thatI know that some of you on here think because I am freaked out my grow is illegal, I assure you it is not. I actually have 6 scripts and only 28 plants.But honestly I would rather not have to deal with law enforcement. I've been such a straight arrow all my life it just feels weird even though I know I'm legit.
I honestly don't like the idea that I'm "being watched" and somebody is snooping around my property. I am just worried about our safety in general. I am a very private person.
Also, even though it is legal by the state of California, we know that the feds feel differently even though I don't think we would be worth their time or effort.
I've lived here in my current residence for about 13 years and just hate the fact that my privacy has been violated!!
They will get nothing from me.
interesting takeI'm responding before reading all others response. If I were you, I would very calmly approach that "neighbor" and inform them of a few little tid bits.
First, ask them how they have the audacity to "request" such a thing. Secondly, inform them of YOUR rights to protect your property..mentioning an arsenal of guns and traps won't hurt. Trespassing is illegal.
Throw in as precaution that you are certainly within legal boundaries with your grow......and last, remind them that extortion is a crime.
And IF they do dare to steal from you.....make them sorry they even attempted it.
It's all in the tone you use....they were warned.
While you have his ass pinned to the ground for attempting to cross the boundaries.....remind him or her that they just MIGHT have reaped a little reward had they sent a cake to your house vs. BS threats.

you have no idea what you are talking about..... I have been a caregiver for a few years now.... had numerous law enforcement contacts.... no big deal..... plant numbers as high as 50-80 sometimes..... Read the constitution.... States Rights...... States Rights govern.... states constitution...... Now this.... Police and Sherrifs and CHP are sworn to uphold the STATE law, not particularly the federal law, they are employed by the state, federal prosecution and siting is beyond their jurisdiction other than where its says in the penal code to adhere to federal laws..... there are quite a few laws set by the states that differ from federal law, and law enforcement is mandated and trained to enforce the difference on the state side..... you go to county/state court way before federal where the courts are mandated to rule according to states rights as outlined in the United States constitution. If the federal law enforcement were involved they would be primarily interested in the $ numbers (according to DEA spokespersons, and a few officers I know), and as this guy in particular doesn't even have finished product, there is no $ number..... Besides, Technically, so long as you jump through some hoops marijuana is legal to use federally based on doctrined religion.
I got tired of reading your posts so I didn't read further than this..... there is nothing for us to prove..... the proof is out there...... and commonly known, obviously..... and apparently not by you...... please stop your poor rhetoric, I want to find out what happens in THIS story (threadjacker.....)

i would call the cops and tell them my neighbor is trying to extort me and set him up,when he comes to pick up the bag they can nail him,and you will never have this problem again.what he is trying to do to you is far worse than growing a little to much weed.i myself remain very friendly with the local PD so i know if this where me the cops would be on my side.Just make sure your with in your limits when the cops come,as long as your legit the other guy is screwed.

Drop it where he wants, then double back, hide n see who it is, then you know who he is, but he dont know this, AHHHhh, then you can get really creative in yr quest for justice!

I can understand how difficult it is, but you may have to give up some of your plant. It's easy for me to say this, as it's not my plant. Think of it as being "partially busted." And now, you must pay an unexpected tax. Threatening or otherwise doing harm to your neighbor would create too many other problems. It will also bring the cops around, which is what you want to avoid.
Here's what I would do. Let him know that you are considering his offer, and will work something out when the crop is done. Don't do it in your handwriting. Type it, and don't sign it. Save all "evidence" of his notes, just in case. He is now just as guilty as you, by way of his note. When the crop is done, give him 4 ounces. Once he takes it, you have just as much leverage as he does. If he demands more, tell him it's all being donated to medical patients. Sell off what you can right away. Then store the rest (except for personal stash) somewhere else for while, until things cool off. Like your parents house without them knowing.
I would suggest indoors in the future.

Just a thought. Make some poison weed available to them one way or the other.Not seriously.8 oz of untrimmed and wet weed aint much If you give in for some reason at least wet the hell out of it befor and add a laxative or something.What can he do call the cops on you for falty extortion payments.If his threats are valid and he could bust you SHUT IT DOWN and move or change locations.You wont sleep to well wondering if the law will come day after day.maybe move it to one of the other in the co op. I'm totally with you on this I dont understand all this killing shit and giving shit away BS... Put some grass clipping in the bag and put it where he/she told you and stake it out so you know who it is. I would be hiding with my camera and when they pick it up yell at them so they look at you and snap a picture. After you sucessfully scare the shit out of them and they know there caught just explain to them that it's 100% legal and if anything goes missing it there ass! Maybe I would burn one with them after harvest just to be on the good side but other then that. Don't even worry about it. It's no doubt a stupid kid. You'de never catch me giving a half pound of my grow to a shitty neighbour even were mine isn't legal....
