I usually water with RO water. Recently saw that RO water is "empty water". I switched it up to my tap water, but it's decently alkaline, about 8.0-8.4PH. Let's see if this does anything for it




Quick edit: I'm not watering them at the PH indicated above lol. 6.5ph is my usual.

Water is usually hard mainly due to calcium carbonate. Among other minerals. Excessive calcium can cause nutrient lockout. Check your water utility’s latest analysis. It should be online. The TDS is the figure you want as well as what makes up the analysis such as magnesium etc

I don't drink tap water because of its hardness and quality. It leaves extreme calcium residue on most metals after a day or so. I'll check the page out
