My Cheese bean that I gleaned from some decent AZCS stuff hermied on me. I got DM's Reverse and applied it once already. I want to know if she should stay or should she go, now (pun intended). It's a gorgeous plant; incredibly symmetrical and is has a good calyx to leaf ratio. It smells pretty decent too! On the other hand who wants seed in their smoke? I'm quite conflicted and am curious to hear folks reasoning. So, let's here the verdict, RIU!

Run it, if you can get a decent harvest, that was an awesome batch. Be forewarned, Dudes LOVED it, ladies HATED the smell... not all, but 90% of the females said it was disgusting and wouldn't even smoke it.

I know I'll catch flack but that really was some good cheese that y'all had back then. Your budtender at the west side locale said that he didn't think they were fem seeds but I honestly can give two shits and a piss. Good herb is good herb! (this is no diss) I actually started buying a little more hoping to get lucky again and score a couple more beans, lol

Let the plant have sex with itself!

Collect Seeds after harvest
Smoke Buds!

Now you have

Cheese x Cheese

well if there are any seeds let's hope they are viable. I used reverse on them once already (treated all the flowers) and I'm going to give it about 7 days before I have another close up inspection to see if the pollinating stopped.

I do not think there is a product that will STOP the male organs from producing... The product might help the plant to stay in female mode... I think it is TOO late if she has balls...

Castration time!

I would rip that whore out of the ground and smoke it... ASAP...

Thats me though!!

A great example of genetic alteration gone wrong! Fem seeds are a result of someone playing God...
Some of the MOST beautiful plants I have grown were males plants... Mother nature should decide the plants fate... Always buy regular seeds... I think Fem seeds are marketed to attract new growers...

But what can I say... I started growing Mexican Sativas!!

I wouldn't collect the seeds. If the plant hermied on its own, it'll pass that trait on. Cut the balls off and salvage he bud

View attachment 1982476This is my Hermie Cheese. It was my best smoke thus far. and it was a hermie!!
no offense but that looks super premature. you can tell because of the abundance of orange hairs and lack of swollen calyxes. did you cut that around week 5 or six?

to the OP i have used DM reverse with good results. it will not get rid of all seeds but most. if you have other strains going i would chop that hermie plant. there are many great cheese strains available that will not herime i would suggest barney farm blue cheese or exodus cheese from big buddha.

how many other plant risk infection from this one??? if u have a big harvest coming cut her and don't bother, but if she makes up a huge chunk of your projected yield then grow her out... how do u like that DM Reverse?? i have always have wanted to try it. let me know big ur garden is so i can vote :)

No offense taken. I did pull that one early. I think it was 6.5 weeks it should of gone at lease 8.5 weeks. I could only imagine how great the smoke would of been. I thought it was going to be shit. but the she-he has the best fruity taste and smell to it. I have yet to find a smoke as sweet as it. there was no amber in the she-he just some clouds.

I had to harvest my first chemdog and super skunk about three weeks early. I am pretty depressed about it; however, we live and learn. I am letting my cheese finish up but I am quarantining her (probably for the rest of flower) just to be sure. I cut off all the seeds and nanners I could see after I sprayed. It's been about a week and I haven't been finding any new seed growth or male pollen sacks. You really have to molest and examine them to see those little pollen sacks. They seem to typically appear only at the internode regions. I'll be posting a pic update of she-he and check my t5 thread because I'm going to be updating that tonight, as well.:blsmoke:

picking out those nanners is a bitch and it is so hard to get them all. there are probably a few inside the buds as well which you can really do much about. i would check your flower chamber for light leaks just in case.
