I was using the BMG 50 as an example. Hell, my 762 or even the 30-06 will go thru acouple houses barring it don't the hit studs. I do understand the basic of velocity with longer barrel,,, duh.... And my boy did carry his 50 cal over in the sandbox.

I don't just have one reason for one gun... I small game hunt... I don't use my 30-06 to shoot rabbits.. And I don't use a shotgun to hunt a elk. And I don't use my 50 cal for coon hunting. And I use handguns to protect my home...

You want a starting point to stopping mass shootings,,, that's up to parents. To teach their kids proper gun handling and respect for others. And if your kids a nutcase,, to keep him away from guns.... And even report him if you think he's a danger,,,I think that's a starting point.

I'd love to see the mass shooting stop myself too... But if someone crazy enough to shoot up a school,, if they didn't have a gun,, why not build a pipe bomb and level the whole room? Or even something worse.
