coming from a 250 hps I felt the 135 watt would be under sized but 185 watts of led is closer to the 250 hps

Yes it's dimmable. It's an A version driver so the Voltage can be adjusted a bit as well to raise the wattage. I have 4 boards though, 2 fixtures of 2 boards in series on remotely mounted 240H-C2100's instead. But I imagine it can go a bit over the 120Watts it's advertised for. It doesn't even need a heatsink though cause the boards so huge. 15" X 9".

If you see people's builds, a lot of the time they space their strips closer together at the edges because of the overlap you get from all the center ones that aren't there at the ends. So with the diodes layed out this way, it's pretty fuckin even... Check the PAR maps out on the second pic on the amazon page. At 24" I've never seen a single board come anywhere close to their #s.
