I currently purchased the HLG 100 V2 3000k
I already had pop 2 seeds so it is what it is. I’m in a 3x3 tent. Would this light be enough for both of them.? Really wanna avoid spending another 150.. but if it won’t work I’ll buy another. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

It will veg decently in a 3x3, lot of it will depend on height and hours. Its not strong enough to veg properly at 14-16 hours. Need atleast 18 hours, maybe 20 to do a good veg. Doubt it will flower very well at all.

I suggest a 4000k spectrum for your second board you will need.
That is best for veg by a long shot, then add your 3000k as well for flower there fore covering bases bit better..

2x2ft flower
3x3ft veg

You will want another if you’re going to be using up all of that space. Even with two, you’re just under 25w/sq.ft, flowering a 3x3 with LED, you’d be better suited in the 275-300w range(like a HLG 300 for example).
Lol yeah I kinda put 2 and 2 together and figured I needed That one. Just that a lot of money rn for me.gotta save up for that.

Yeah... this is prob what imma end up doing. Hate that I gotta spend another 150. I wish I would’ve just been able to buy just one good as light for the grow

They do 4 packs of boards which don't require heat sinks for a great price.

The v1 and v2 hlg132 and the v2 qb120
https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/quantum-boards/products/qb132-v1-quantum-boards

Then you need a driver to power them. Like the HLG 240h-c1750.

That gets you enough for a 3x3 and costs about $160 with a bit extra for framing.
It would also have a far better light spread than a couple of hlg100s

That HLG100 is fine for two seedlings and fine for veg up to a point. for flowering please see my answer above.

Damn so ur saying one of those will beat this 100 I got? Or just one of those will do the job through the cycle. Cause adding that qb 132 plus the driver gives me about the same I spent on the 100 v2

Its a pack of 4 boards. for bit over $100 , you would need a basic L shaped aluminium frame and a bit of wire.
But yeah, each board can be powered up to 75w without a heat sink. So yep up to 300w depending on the driver , its a very cheap way to light up your space effectively.

I run 3 HLG 65 v2 in my 2x4 tent and it’s plenty for me. Each plants yields around 55-65 grams after it’s been cured and dried. I think 2 100v2 would be more than enough. FYI I keep my boards within 7-10 inches from tops

Yeah this is what I have in my 3x3 and it is perfect. QB132v2 3500k with a hlg-320h-c2100a(will dim down to 106 watt up to 338watt). Very easy to build, I used a 600x600 manhole frame and some wire fishing leaders to hang it.
A cheap lux meter was a great investment to know what height to have the light. Here is a couple of pics on mine. I also have a grow journal (my 1st grow) in my signature if you want to check it out.:peace:

Getting a hold on a manhole frame might be a little difficult lol. But still open to ideas. Someone said Lframes. Sounds good too
