Sup homie, that IS a pretty nifty trick with the loupe. Shit looking good, I know my girls are developing more every day, so I imagine things are much the same for you. I was thinking about germing some more beans soon. I dunno, I wanna play around a little bit with some experimental plants. You have any cool ideas that you've been too cautious to try with any of your plants? I think I wanna try some grafting out, and possible some extreme training, like training the stem into a knot or something. Shit like that, you have any outrageous ideas?

for sure meta, i'm always thinking about stuff. one idea i had was to try to get a horizontal plant by training the main branch sideways and sticking some of the new growth back in the soil as "extra roots" lol, not sure if that would work. that would be a good shape for a bookshelf grow. man i'd love to germ some more beans or take some clones of m'ladies but i just don't have the time for it. the two are already a full time job! (not really, but kinda yes). and yeah man, they are growing every day, it's a beautiful thing. temps in my box are still on the high end... 86 deg with two lights off (just 4 clfs + 2 t5s on)... i might have to do another intake to inject some cooler air in the system... or do you think they'll be ok at 86?

this is a 5x plastic loupe i got for about $7 at a stationary store. i put it about an inch away from my phone cam lense and it really helps to focus the closeup shots. got the idea from micro.grower, hopefully it catches on! the difference is really evident in the last pair of pics.

i found mine at a stationary store, like journals, staples, office supplies, that sort of store. i think it was $7, might have been $10. either way, much cheaper than a macro lense ($300 lol). check the magnification on it, have it be at least 5x (2x is not enough).

you gotta post some pics dude, lol.
Yeah, but first I have to take them... Here are a couple pictures of the LA Confidential. I know that it is off topic and I really want to get some new G13 Amnesia Haze pics, but...
Here is my first ever harvest and trim job. This is the biggest cola. I was hella nervous harvesting and manicuring. LOL

the loups are an invaluable tool to a man takin piks with a cell phone... with enough examination of the pictures, you can often see trich color and development... its tricky at first, but when you get it, youv.e got it... know what i mean...

I love how the loop thinggy with 5x and a phone camera can see it, but my digital camera with macro mode can't! HAHA o well :p

hey micro, yeah i know what you mean bro. the first few times i almost gave up because it was nearly impossible to get the distances right between the lens the camera and the buds, but when you get the hang of it it's well worth it. of course i have my 60x scope for trichs, so that helps as well! anyway, thanks for the loupe trick, it's catching on my man!!

need a good idea peeps...

I want to contain my girls' circumference... if you know what I mean. I'm not too concerned about height anymore, but I wanna stop the girls from getting WIDER...

you think one of these tomato cages like this one would work:
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=tomato+cage&hl=en&client=firefox&hs=dgo&rls=com.yahoo:en-US:official&prmd=ivnsfd&resnum=1&biw=1472&bih=871&bav=on.1,or.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=7122429024712638700&sa=X&ei=rq1kTZPAFI-asAP13pG3BA&ved=0CFwQ8gIwAQ#

or maybe make something like that, out of some wire hangers?

or shape a screen into some kind of "bag" of screen, like a protective scrog screen around her making a "U" shape upward...?

purple diesel :bigjoint:. damn strong after 4 months. that's right guys, 4 months of curing.
