"SOLO 400 cob led grow light can output 3000+ μmol/s/m2 of PPFD at 12 inches"

That *would* be amazing.
As we use optic lens to focus the light, the ppfd will be very high, so we don't suggest hang the light very close to plants, 18'' at least from the light would be safe

Have I got this correct I have to buy one of your lights 1st to enter the competition?

We need to check your set up for testing and ever posting, then confirm if we can provide the gaiveaway to you, and yes, we will refund you once you receive the light
Sorry but I don't get it.

So you, Hortibloom, first have to inspect and approve the growers environment then if it is approved, you need the selected growers to pay for the lights then refund them?

I really do not get why the actual pay ant has to be made. Hortibloom is basically asking for testers so why not decide what environment Hortibloom actually want and just give them away as the title suggests and not fanny about as in your explanation.

Makes no sense, it not actually a giveaway because you will have the testers payment until if/when Hortibloom refund it as you say.

Seems to me you have left an option to not refund at your discretion should you decide at any time the testers environment had changed somewhat maybe.

Sorry for misunderstanding, how about this, once we select testers, we will pay testers to buy the light, as the lights are held by Amazon, we can't ask Amazon to deliver the light without any order

Ah OK, you mean pay the testers in advance then and they pay Amazon?

How exactly will you pay the testers, are you thinking PayPal or something like because this is confusing?

Erm it's not quite a give away is it?
Read Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer threads they are giving away, as in they are giving it away no need for purchase then maybe receive a refund, me paying to promote your lights isn't going to happen, I'd happily run a side by side with the light I might win from Mars Hydro or Spider Farmer and give the appropriate credits.

MarsHydro owns warehouse in US, so it's very convenient for them to provide giveaway, currently we only have 3 lights left in Amazon, if we ship from China, the shipping cost per light is around 100usd, it's really hard to afford for the 3 lights, we will ship more giveaway to US warehouse in the future, but for now we can only ask Amazon for help to deliver the 3 lights

It's supposed to be a giveaway but it's not and you have made it ever increasing complicated for any confused gullible mem er of RIU to partake.

It's a big joke, no reviews, asking testers to pay and making it up as you go along.

Hell no, jokers.

Who are you, Hortibloom, gyrapex or whatever brand the light in the link is or are you all the other names of all the other brands of lights you sell on amazon and countless other sites?

Who are you?

WTF
Hortibloom is sub brand of Geyapex Technology, our website is www.hortibloom.com, our alibaba shop is https://geyapextechnology.en.alibaba.com/

I’d like to help you out simply because I know how difficult it is for a Chinese company to create a legit name for themselves in our community.

Like it or not, China manufacturers are a life saver for home growers like us. Can always count on them to reproduce tech that’s affordable for us.

Only problem I have with company like Mars is that they know absolutely nothing about growing our plants. Just picked up some jargons along the years and they are advising growers on how to grow with LEDs? Really? I’m betting most of them if not all have not smoked once in their lives! Also, very inflated prices.

With that being said, I’d not be interested in the light you posted. Send me your latest product and we’ll talk. You can send it to my shipper in China so no worries on shipping cost. I’ll pay for it.

I can start a journal here or on my regular forum. I do not have any grows here but can link you to them elsewhere. You can decide whether you like my grow setup. One more thing, 我会说中文so language won’t be an issue. You can let me know your requirements in your native language as it’s quite apparent that English is not your strong suit.

kay woah, first off its not up to members of RIU to berate our advertisers.

They have been checked, many companies sell on amazon. its a way to reach other markets.

I dont know id call this a giveaway but many many companies do similar not everyones first language is english so lets settle down and treat eachother nicely and stop berating people

That's great ! Thanks so much for your support man, really appreciate for your help, would you please show me your set up, and yes just as you said, we never grow similar plants in China, so we really really need more feedback and reviews from real growers to help us improve products. We have many different models with different configuration for customer to choose, so let's see which model will be great for your space, and yes please provide the link to your previous grow journals if you don't mind, thanks

So.. $300 in shipping costs is too much for your company to pay for basically a worldwide advertisement contract that's bound to last 5-6 months? From 3 different sources? Ouch.

Why are you taking such issue ? He's offering up lights if someone wants to do sponsored grows. They are using amazon to save on shipping cost and time. Having dealt with distributers and amazon before I understand that they are able to refund your amazon purchase after the fact and is more convenient for them. An actual order needs to be placed on amazon for them to actually ship it. If I understand him correctly he is even offering to go a step further and use paypal to fund your purchase. English is not his first language, give him a break. I get it, guys want the "give away" to be no strings attached. Maybe when you learn a second language you can explain to him how he didn't quite use the term correctly here.

Was only responding to what I had understood in that particular post by the advertiser. I don't see anything wrong with it. If you wanna make money you gotta spend a little.. after I responded to that I read down , and understood a little better. I think it's a smart way to go about things, and using Amazon as the middle man lays out all the credibility needed here.
