Houston Outdoor Grow

Hello! I am a newbie grower looking for some advice.
I want to grow in my suburban backyard and trying to plan the best way to go about this.

1. Which strains are low odor and can handle humidity?
2. What is the best way to secure/maintain privacy? Mini greenhouse? Is that really necessary in super hot/humid houston and could a greenhouse actually make it too hot for my plants? Should I shade them outdoors? Camo fence the area? I actually prefer to plant in pots rather than the ground so that I can bring them inside if necessary.
3. I am looking for the easiest way to grow. I can spend some money but I definitely don't want to do an indoor grow. So my question is, what are the basic needed materials? Soil, compost, worms, fert, x gallon pots, etc.
4. Is there a book that you recommend for the beginner grower? I'm also wanting to start this ASAP.
5. Where to get seeds? Should I get autoflowering or feminized?

I appreciate any advice you pros may have. Legalize TX!

Im in canada where its probably colder in august than january in huston and i dont use a green house ... It will get too warm inside a gh .. To keep it on the simple theres just a couple things to know
Buy good soil if you want good plants.
if you know other growers or sellers that might be able to sell you clone it would be faster/easier than starting from seed and if they took the time to save a mother for cloning its probably good

no problem , seeds are fun too ,,, best of luck . there are alot of good seed companies out there. Some sell a variety from different companies and also single seeds so you dont have to break the bank with a 10 pack

Low odor good luck as most people who breed do not breed for low odor. Make use of your outdoor garden by also planting herbs such as basil, mint, catnip, etc etc. These herbs will help offset

Greenhouse in Houston for sure. I would not be having plants in my back yard uncovered; I am from Louisiana, but now am ojn the other side of the world. No it wont get too hot. Small covered greenhouse in smart pots would be fine. The only reason I say greenhouse is legality....Unless you know something I dont its still highly illegal in Texas....

Growers Bible or something similar would be a good book for you to pick up

Steer clear of the autoflowers. Plenty of good feminized seeds to get yourself started. There are plenty of US based seedbanks these days I think so keep to those as to avooid coming in and clearing customs, but if you must, herbies and attitude are some of the most known seedbanks.
