How are things in OR?

First of all, friendly positive person here :) so if I move into your state it won't be a bad thing.

Colorado laws are going out of control and as a grower it only seems reasonable to move.
My question is, Northern CA or OR?

If I come to OR, can I get my recomend and start growing right afterwards?

I have to admit, I am partial to the extra sun of CA. So if there are sunnier places in OR, let me know :), I know Oregon is gloomy but I can handle that depending on what the "Oregon Vortex" or spiral or whatever it is there, how that energy is (I'm a new ager)

I can handle donating my medicine at cheaper rates, what kind of rates would I be looking at by the lb for top quality meds up there?

Also, any kind of information on how oregon people are in general would be much appreciated, I'm sure theres lots of cool ppl.

Thanks!
:)

southern oregon is very nice and long summers with lots of wun very nice down here. theri is lots of cool people to but alsoalot of shisty fucks who like to screw theri patients and use theri cards illegaly. if i were u id go with oregon only cuz cali is in a shit hole right now and its gonna be legal theri soon anyway so i wouldnt think theri would be as much cash for weed down theri as theri would be here. but to get a card in oregon u have to have dr. documents of what u need your card for from an oregon doctor. unless u are just a grower then yes u can start as soon as u have a card. u will need a oregon id to. i would call some clinics in the areas ur interested in and talk to them about it laws can very from county to county

Everything. They are regulating it. Caregivers can have only five patients, etc. They just put a moratorium on sales tax licenses for it and made it (obviously by what i just typed) to where you have to have a license to vend in larger quantities. I could stay here because my friend has one and I could just invest in his business. But I think being in driving distance near a beach would be pretty nice, I've always wanted to be. :)

mcpurple, what are the specs about getting your doctor documents? I have chronic pain in my back and could go to a doc and get x rays of my probs and get him to verify the pain and source, do I have to wait, or can I just go see the doc, then get a recommend somewhere like thcf?

well here in oregon a grower can grow for 4 patients max wich is 24 plants. so your laws sound better with more patients. also your doc records have to be with in the last three years and at least 3 appointments made about the same issue and they have to be 30 days apart so it could take up to 4 months just to get the papers from a doc. and asked for my records from my family doctor. didnt tell him what for. then i took those papers that stated i have sever back pain fro m breaking it to the thcf clinic and they look through it and if they think it will be accepted they will fax it right then and theri to Portland to verifie and then they will set u up with a appointment with theri doc to

i havnt lived in oregon in over 6 years, but back then (granted i was just a 19yo living on the streets of portland) the laws there were very lax, and that was before the MMJ movement was as big as it is now.

if you decide cali, i personally wouldnt go north. i know it sounds nice and all, but i have friends over there and they tell me horror stories about local police and large scale growers BOTH causing problems for anyone who wants to go there to grow (look for an apartment anywhere in Mendocino or Humboldt, and half of them actually have to add to the Advertisement "No Grow" to try to ward off the influx of growers).

interesting. So the drama is bad with leo in humboldt, but wont it be in a lot of places? What if I just kept to myself and didnt make myself noticeable to anyone? Hey, I'm all ears to other places, of course, I would consider many other places in cali, I would just like to move there because I am pretty sure even with legalization it will be the state to still go to for mmj/ growing. any ideas on good counties/cities to grow ?
