how long till Harvest?

hey guys,

just took some new pics today,

so how far from harvest u think? a lot of the hairs are red now but theres still some white hairs but something like three quarters of the hairs are red

as for the trichs, id say a little less than half of them have clear stems with amber heads and the rest are clear/milky

im planning on being as patient as possible (with this being my first real grow)
so im fully prepared to wait longer for harvest and i want to dry and cure as long as possible because this is my only plant, so i want it to be as potent as possible

so any ideas?

Sounds like it's about time to me. It's pretty small, so maybe give it a couple more days to let the trichs amber up. It's all about your preference.

i got 2 23w cfls and one 20" aquarium floro

i know its not much light but its my first grow and its sort of an experiment

then i dont think that buds could get any bigger. im doing my first grow 2 and i dont expect huge buds

but anyway, i would let them grow little bit

how long does it take before you can tell the sex....been growing outside and some are around 3 ft tall

it can take even forever. you will be able to tell sex when daylight will get shorter than its in summers.

YO dude - what strain is that? Just I'm getting the impression with the size of mine they'll probably be about that size when done...I'm a newbie to all this growing stuff

decided to wait a while untill more of the hairs turn red before i harvest , also i think im probably in the last two weeks of flowering because shes really been fattening up the last couple of days

gonna keep an eye on the trichs and hairs and ill post/take pics when i finally do harvest.

wow she did fatten up u close real close to harvest make sure to keep good eye on it.

Dont Give that plant ne water or food for like a week before the harvest it will piss the plant off and all the THC will run straight to the buds from the stem

give it a couple more weeks, wait until the trichz get a lot more cloudy and most of all the hars turn golden brown...youve come this far so whats waiting a little bit gonna hurt...Nice job on your first grow by the way! what kind of nutes do ya use?

I assume you know that the more amber, the sleepier the weed. If all your facts are straight, I'd grab her now . . . but I need a "high" high.

hey guys I decided to harvest on 7/18/08 as that will be the the end of the 8th week of flowering
I'll post harvest pics on the day of.

most of hairs need to have turned,they fatten last few weeks,1ml molasses 1litre water is good to use, have much joy.

yea decided not to harvest yet because i still see new white hairs popping up, and theres never any white hairs on the dro i regularly smoke every hair is red so i think im gonna wait a while more untill most or all the hairs have turned

i recently had a bad experience with some early harvested bud it didnt even get me high thats why i decided not to harvest so quickly. my friend picked up a half of it, it was dark and he didnt get a good look at it before he got it and it turned out to be some total shit, worse than shwag as soon as i saw the white hairs all over it i new it was early harvested.... it was a bad day.

any way ill post a new thread when i do harvest so be on the look out for it.
