Here’s the trick.

Wait for the pistils to have ALL turned brown and receded back into the calyx.

then begin checking Trichomes.

You can start checking trichomes from week 4/5 of flower and find enough evidence to warrant harvesting even though the plant isn’t ripe.

Yeah so i didnt wait for the pistils to reced into the calyx, they turned brown and i started checking, looked good to me so i chopped them. The bud is still better than what i was buying so thats a plus i guess.

It’s always a plus when you’re growing your own and become so self sufficient that you have boxes of the stuff all over the house lol.

my first grow was a 600w HPS with 2 plants. One went hermie. The other yielded 35g lol.

That sounds like my first grow. 150 watt led with 2 plants, i pulled like 38 or 40 grams off the 2 autos. It was a disaster. No nutrients, horrible air circulation, 95 degrees, bad tap water. The whole 9. Lol. Then my next run was 11 ounces. I think im on tge right path ti success.

Currently what im growing under that same 150w set up with better air circulation, nutrients and 75 degrees. Just over 2 foot. Gorilla glue photos in 2 gallon pots.

Have a superglue and gorilla glue fem going in here right now. Gorilla glue has a long while yet before shes done. But hows the plant in the front looking? 3 to 4 more weeks is what i was thinking. Thanks in advance everyone!!
Looking good.... very green... I woukd start backing out my nitrogen about now
