more atts is always better.... if you can get a 1000 watt HID great... if not you can use a 600 watt HID...

if not, i would seriously consider starting with 43 watt CFLs for your first grow... after using CFLs you will either stay at that LIGHTING strength....or you will want to move to 600 or 1000 hids....

IF you do go with an HID.. you will need ventialtion in almost every growing enviroment

if you are afraid of the dark, you should leave your light on 23 hours a day... and slowly reduce how long it is on 10 minutes a day... until you are comfortable in the dark
