How much $ do you make growing?

Here in the uk its about £140-£200 for an oz of , we keep getting 'sprayed' shit but thats not much cheaper, there is money to be made here for sure, and the punishment is a joke, would take ALOT of plants to go to jail here

Those of you on this site telling me I'm immature or stupid for asking this question should really just not post. Again I simply asked how much people are making growing pot. Then, people are posting telling me that its illegal to sell pot...rofl I know that...did you know its also illegal to grow it, whether it's for yourself or not.

AGAIN I WILL SAY FOR THOSE THAT DID NOT READ THE FIRST TIME. If you don't want to post how much you earn a year off growing than don't post, if you don't mind telling me than thank you for the information.

RIU is a great site, but there are some people on here that love posting on threads negative comments.

it aint different shades of grey at all. Selling is outright illegal. Growing and smoking is on its way to decriminalization nationwide, and in 12 states you can go to a shop n buy it legally with a card. So a forum about growing and smoking is a legal forum where people can talk about it. Selling is NOT the same thing, and should not be discussed in here. Two totally different animals dude. What people do outside of the growing/smoking spectrum is totally their business, and not ours. Like i said previously, that type of shit can get this forum shut down, n that shit aint no joke. Dont take advantage of a good thing just because its here, and end up ruining it for everyone. This place has basically taught me inside n out how to grow cannabis. If it werent for RIU, id be killin ALL of my plants with some bullshit MG nutes, and would have given up months ago. Dont blow it for everyone.

My bud from high school sold dank for 20 a gram here where dank is rare and brick weed is still not easy to come by. hes a smart dude and is at university of Fl now becoming a lawyer. he sold cause he was a pot head and came about a good connection supposedly from canada (thats what he told me, and somone prob told him but who knows where it was from) and it was an easy sell to his pot head friends such as myself. Anyway, I wouldnt sell small amounts like by the gram if I had a bunch of growing shit and evidence in my house but rather front an oz to a few people and let them do the work. say you get ur shit from someone else, never say you grow it. whatver u tell the people u front to could end up being told to the cops. cops want to know whose the supplier. well ur the supplier but u dont tell anyone that obviuosly cause when the cops tell ur guy that hes goin away forever unless he gives up the guy at the top hes gonna say well i know who grows it. if he only knows u get an oz every so often to sell and smoke as u please and u give only him an oz to sell cause hes ur 'friend' and u 'trust' him then he might not give u up. but if he does then the cops just have another small time dealer punk kid on their hands rather than a drug lord or whatever. so worst case scenario u get a call from ur guys lawyer sayin cops are comin w/a warrant and u destroy the fuckin evidence asap. thats how i see it anyways but i could be completly wrong. also educate urself and the people u front to on how to keep fuckin quiet and how cops are all talk and lawyers are the shit. first investment after makin a few bucks is an account or secret stash of money givin to the closest person in ur life (my dad) along w/the info of the attorney of ur choice.

good subject in my opinion. growing, selling, smoking, possesing is all illegal so theres no good arguement there and for the people talkin shit, y? does it make ur dick hard? cause if it doesnt then i dont see y u would want to talk shit to someone that doesnt have the ability to walk up to you and put u in ur fuckin place.

Everyone gives you shit because the fact is you don't just wake up and become a drug dealer one day. I know dealing drugs and being a grower is framed to be the easy way to make a quick buck but the facts really don't support that. We all see the corner guy flipping bags left and right making bank but those guys get busted regularly. We all know the guy flipping ounces out of mom's basement he doesn't have to work and makes us much us you and me. The catch with him is that we all know him, he has a well estalished network set up through years of sitting on the couch doing what he does. Usually that guy started in high school and has high traffic at his house which you don't want if you grow. The growers who make money are guys who know the right people as well. If you don't already know someone who buys in pounds you probably aren't goingto meet one that wants to buy from someone he doesn't know. I could flip 4 pounds every two weeks through two seperate guys but one of those guys has known me since I was in diapers and the other I've known since he was in diapers. There is not an easy in.



To answer your question:

1 pound 2k-4k dollars
1 oz 250-400 dollars
1/8th 40-60 dollars

I flower under a 1 1000 watt HPS and have 8-10 plants at any given time. I have my plants spaced so I put one into flowering every week. I pull about two ounces off each plant. I personally smoke about an ounce a week. Which leaves about an ounce a week that I could in theory sell. In my area through my connects 300 dollars an ounce is the going rate.


that is 1200 dollars a month or 14,400 dollars a year. Similar to the fry cook at McDonald's. About 1/5th of what I make going to a normal 9-5er and not taking the risks associated with dealing.
