But BC throws kind of everything into the “hydro” bill so it’s a bit hard to tell cause in Alberta now I don’t use electricity for heating for example.

Curious, do people consider just the taxes taken out of their checks? Or do we want to add in all the littles fees/taxes that have been tacked on to every single purchase and transaction in this country? My "effective" tax rate is around 50%

It seems perhaps the problem is that your reading comprehension is lacking. Your misunderstanding of my post would indicate that, though it may also indicate you are merely a troll.
You may notice there is a section called 'Politics' for this garbage. Many of us couldn't give the tiniest fuck about US politics and don't want to read about them on a cannabis site. That's why we don't go to that section and why we discourage that bullshit in the rest of the forum.

Please feel free to respond with more of your brilliant wit. It will be ignored.

I thought I answered your questions thoroughly even though it was none of your business. You didn't answer any of mine though.
Not sure why you keep bringing politics up for. I mentioned it once and you just keep harping on it but yes, US politics is as exciting as it gets at the moment, mixed in with Brexit an Bougainville and its an excitation time to follow a little bit of it. Not sure why you dont have an interest? Are you young? Yes i'm aware of the politics section. Cannabis and Politics has been hand in hand for 100s of years.
Who is "we"? You want to be a Mod dont you? Why?

Ok great thread ! Why I started growing is we were spending $300 to $400 a month on smoke for the 2 of us ...didnt even realize how easy it was to get a grow lic so 30 days later I had one in the mail ...

Currently my flower room is about 2100 watts of straight hps ...

I expect my yield to be about 2.5 + llbs this run my whole 3 months cycle cost me about $600.00 to $700.00 considering I already own the equipment and pots /meters etc ...

Clones /hydro/nutes /soil /security cameras

So clearly I am ahead of the game I grow way more than I need to but I enjoy giving it away to friends and family although I need to invest in a trimming machine for sure !

My hydro is actually cheap in my opinion

Flower hydro $120.00 month
Veg hydro $150.00 month

I went all in with the rdwc.. Ive spent over $6000 (including all the times I changed things) to get everything exactly how I want it.
I have a tabletop clone station thats already had amazing results, a 5x5 tent with elevated 12 bucket veg system, 10x10 flower tent with 6 or 12 17 gallon sites. I have heat, ac, humidifier, and all the air circulation i could ever need.
Most of my equipment is easily replaceable or has a 5+ year warranty. Very little upkeep, can pretty much ignore it for weeks at a time.
Water, electric, and nutrients are pretty much only recurring costs.
$200 a month higher for utilities at peak when I had a full flower and a veg going, but dont plan to do that again.

My first crop alone paid for over half of it VS what I would have spent on that at a dispensary.
