how much water?

water them slowly, I have a 2 liter sprayer, and the way I water my 10 gal pot is, I spray like 500 ml of water, then wait, then another 500 ml, then wait, and so on. I stop once I see run off come out of the pot. It's a slow process but if you are not in a hurry I think its a good way to do it.

Usually you dont want any run off while you are growing organic, but im just getting the hang of it, and im not sure how much water can my pots take.

In 3 gallon fabric pots I water a gallon per pot and get about 20% runoff, this can take from 24 hours to 3 or 4 days, depending on what stage is the plant in the growing cycle.

I have 2 plants right now, starting week 4 in flower, both in 3 gallon pots, one needs water every 24 hours, the other every 48 hours, they both get the same fertilizer formula and they were both started from seed on the same day. How much water to use depends on how long you wait and how dry is the plant.
