How much will my electricity bill rise?

How much will my electricity bill rise per month running a 600w hps bulb for 12/12 only? I don't expect an exact answer, just a census of how much other ppl's bills have went up so I at least know what to expect. TIA

What else are you using besides the 600w?

When I used a 600w with 55w fan, 45w fan, 221w dehumidifier, 80w tubular heater on 12/12 my bill went up about £45 around $65 but I pay £0.27p per kwh for most of my electricity around $0.45 per kwh.

this is another one of those questions that really bothers me on here.
easy to find out without needing to ask someone else.

if you cant use common sense to figure out the answer, they have cost calculators for these things.

but, the answer is $25usd. give or take.

Why should someone as rich as you worry about the cost of electricity?

I just ran my 600w for a month straight vegging 24/0 and i usually pay 265 a month. This months bill came at 285$.

That maybe true but time is also a big consideration when doing cceedingly long veg times. That 4month veg could be almost 2 harvests doing SOG.

Ya I've seen the one plant huge yield setups(usually hydro scrog) but they take so much time in veg and are a lot of maintenance. It's better just to shove as many 40-50 day vegging plants as you can in, prune hard in mid-late veg to where you don't have many side or lower branches, maybe prune again once or twice in early flower and you will get well over what the one plant setups get in near the same space. Under two 600s in say a 6x5x7 high room once one somewhat masters their growing techniques and with the right strains(preferably clones of same strain) one can easily get the 1 gram per watt ratio. I'm near there and not only hope to get to that milestone but hope to go beyond it.

As to the OP, just get the light/s going and see what your bill will be. Rates are so different around the world and within the states or EU it's too hard to estimate without details. I do about 3,000 watts 12/12 and 800 18/6 and pay 250 or so at .10c a kilowatt hour. It's my biggest expense but is paid for with a single oz. Meaningless if you are doing 16-32+ ozs a month or two.

It cost around $50 each month to run a 600 watt a 6" inline fan and a 4" inline fan

HARSH.

In the winter I pay about $0.06 kwh and about twice that in the Summer.
