how to get dense nugs?

i was wondering what tricks and methods people have to getting dense nugs. i have yet to get my nuggets as dense as i would like. i have a 250 watt hps. ive heard of molasses and know how that works, i was thinking more along the lines of a good nutrient or something.

try this thing called gravity, its made by humboldt's finest. I used it on my last grow and it works wonders.

thanks for the advice. know where i can get it? ive had some problems with nutrient burning, probably because i have just used some home depot shit til now

wattage is real important for dense nugs. i use also gravity by humbolt countys own, its a flower hardner and it work great for me.

ive heard wattage is key. i only have one plant and it has a 250 watt hps and a couple cfl's here and there, im hoping to start off right, any thoughts?

it is female too, pleanty of hairs, just no serious development. started 12/12 cycle a couple days ago while it had lots of preflowers

I was going to say gravity also although I havent used it yet I have heard great things about it. I ordered mine off ebay last week for $21.99 for 8oz. Kind of expensive but hopefully the results are worth it :hump:

what do you grow in i only grow in soil base if you are hydro i can not help you

take the top third of your plant and tie it so its bend over. do this to everything, you want to lower your canopy. you can lower your light closer now, if you can hold you hand at canopy hieght without it getting too hot its okay. now take anything on the botton half and cut it off, you want to be able to see right thru the stems. with lower wattage lights you get poor light penetration so eliminating this growth will concentrate the plants efforts elswhere.

cal and mag are bud hardeners, try cal/mag + from botanicare added to your regular feed.

i mix some of this with
Triple Super Phosphate 0-46-0

Potash 0-0-60

now it took me a little reading and experment

but now i mix up a bach at a time to the spfic regmin i want.thgen a week befor i put to 6/12 i add 1 table spoon to the soil and work in with home made garden weasele
then i do this half way thru

as of this week i have also started use of this also i will let you know how good it is A COMPLETE PLANT FOOD WITH ALL ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS

Sizes: Available in 5 and 25 lb. bags

but as for the other i am seeing it work you just need to rember less is more with ant feeding plan gi hope this helps and you can do or make any thing as long as you can learn about it.

i use bud blood. my fist grow i didn't use the stuff, then i was told about this annd wow.

Getting dense nugs comes from a variety of things. Giving ur plants optimum growing conditions, letting them reach full maturity, and lastly, type of strain ur growing. U r more likely to get nugs from plants with an Indica background than a Sativa. LOL

if your only doing one plant then drop that hps right on top of the plant with a fan blowing across it on low, light is the key to dense nugs, without enough light you will never get tight nugs, thats why the little buds on the bottom of the plant are less dense

If you want dense bud, Ide would make sure that i first had a good strain, lots of light ( hps ) And some good flowering nutes.
