some strains will throw a nanner, male flower, late late in flower, but not all of them will do this..

my suggestion would be if you want to keep the strain alive is to simply reveg it.. you simply put the plant back under 24 hours of light and in abou a month or so you should see some new veg growth..
you're supposed to leave about 1/4 of the green growth left on the plant in order to reveg fyi..

you can also still take clones from the plant, even at this stage, so long as you have some clone able areas left that is..

this is the first time ive seen someone wanting a hermie. unless someone has a better idea you would have to stress the shit out of that plant. mess its light schedule up. lights on and off all day. since you just harvested it, that will act as a big stress on the plant and you might end up getting what you want lol

Yeah Deza, I agree with Racerboy.. You'd be better off doing a re-veg. If you do, be sure to leave bud material on the plant because that's where the new growth comes from. Without it, the plant will die.

I left 4 small branches which have about 15 popcorn buds and some water leaves. I don't want to reveg Caz I don't have a room to grow in ATM it's being renovated so it will die unless I can get it to seed and preserve its genetics. It's a 30yr old landrace!

During the first three weeks of flowering, turn the lights on for an hour during the middle of the dark period. That is, 12 hrs. on, 5.5 hrs. off, 1 hr. on, 5.5 hrs. off, and repeat for the first 3 weeks, after which you may return to the normal 12/12 light cycle. This causes a plant to go "hermie" and pollinate itself, as well as any other female in the room. You must use plants originating only from female seeds or clones to ensure that no male chromosomes are present. The resulting seeds will produce no male plants!

Its already harvested and finished flowering read my posts. Can I do this even though 80% of the plant was harvested? It's still alive been two weeks now

The short answer is to run the plant to the end of the line take the time of light down an hour from where it is now then let it run till it goes hermie as stated some will pop a nanner to save their selves let's just keep our fingers crossed and wait.
Also spraying with colloidal silver does work you can do a search here on Riu they even have links on where to buy the kit.

Sometimes all you want is an answer.... Soma, from soma seeds has a book called organic marijuana soma style, in this book he mentions letting plants go for a little longer after the final days and bananas will pop up. If you have only pop corn buds left, they may not be mature, how are the tricks, amber, turning dark, or still cloudy?

Just because your top buds finish doesn't mean your lower canopy is done too....... In the hopes of preservation and your current situation, let it go, worst thing you have build a mini box with a cfl and use a glad plastic tupperware, I'm talking about a cubic foot, and hopefully u can rescue a clone. Either way, letting your plant mature with hopes of seeds popping up, or taking a clone you have have a little hope...with that said I hope it works out for you...

Reference - Organic Marijuana, Soma Style.... It is on iBooks

Silver works too. No matter what, it is gonna take time. Seeds popping and mature, growing a clone, or obtaining silver and going to the process....

Best of luck and hope u save your strain.
