How to keep trimming tools clean?

I think I might get to harvest for the first time :-) I have purchased some spring loaded fiskars micro sheers. How do I keep these things clean? I imagine there will be lots of stickiness! Do they get gummed up? How do I keep them working good for the trim, and then how do you clean them well after done.

A cup of rubbing alcohol 1/2 full... let the trimmers soak for awhile..... they wipe off with ease

Then place waste ISO in glass bowl on flatgrll and watch the ISO evaporate and then taste the goodness of OIL!

I have never made oil from my scissors but i do have like 300ml of processed THC/ISO from scissors that I may heat up later ;-)

As everyone else has said a razor and rubbing alcohol is the trick.

I use a blade and scrape it onto a plate for nice hash balls
werd. Don't waste those nice trichs by washing it away with alcohol. Just get a razor or knife and scrape it off and into a ball. you'll be surprised how much it winds up being. Let it dry for a few days and enjoy. Or, you can even enjoy it right then if you really must. :)

Alcohol as mentioned...it won't slow you down when you got lots of work to do. Save your trimmings and make oil with that if you want.

fiskers suck. Ive had a bunch break and my latest set makes a weird grinding thats pissing me off. My wife has been getting me these cheap shit chinese ones from the dollar store that work fine and i just toss them when they get to old. I use 91% ISO on a cotton swab to wipe down my blades while trimming. I wear doctors gloves as well. The coolness of sticky fingers wore off a long time ago.
