How to scrape rounded Pyrex?

I've got a bunch of film on the rounded corners of my Pyrex oven glass. I keep dragging my knuckles through it, and I cant scrape it all off....

My hands go numb after a while and it hurts.

I was thinking, to melt it again with some ISO till it milks or puddles in the middle one more time, is that about all I can do?

If you keep hitting the tric film with ISO again and again, does it lose it's potency?

Thx!

Put it in the freezer then it chips off like little shards of glass. (I use a stanley knife blade).
Personally, I make Butane honey oil and put water in the bottom of the pyrex dish first. It sounds crazy, I know, but the oil floats on top of the water and then I just skim it off with a blade, blow any drops of water off it then use another blade to scrape it into a container. I store mine in a mechanics socket set, actually in the sockets so if I get busted, it just looks like greasy sockets!

Aaaahh, the freezer, I didn't even think of that at all.... Here, Im trying to heat the glass on my portable space heater, to melt the crap a lil bit to make it soft. And the blade just smudges and I get so pissed. So I grab a new blade cause I think I worn it out from the glass, but still same smudge. Thanks man, Im gonna try the freezer trick!

btw: Do you know if you keep hitting it with ISO if it loses it's potency?

Cues, at what point do you skim the mix? after it's done bubblin? The water thing does sound a little crazy! But, the oil would potentially float eh? Thx man!

Don't know about ISO. I only do Butane but it should never lose potency in butane. And yeah, wait until well after bubbling. Only problem with doing it in water is you have to wait until it's fully evaporated and be careful not to spill/tilt it when taking it back inside. The oil floats but you do get a bit sticking to the edges. I make lasagne with the dish occasionally to use it but i could do the freezer trick! if you do BHO, walk away and go back after half an hour. REMEMBER ABOVE ALL ELSE with bute, the fire danger. Do it OUTSIDE, AWAY FROM ANY ELECTRICAL OR IGNITION SOURCE and remember it POOLS INTO LOW AREAS.
Hate to shout man, but nothings worth blowing your face off. Seriously.
Also. if you are going to do lasagne, a bit of home-grown basil n the veg room makes a massive difference.

Iso that pyrex.. rub the corners with a sterile finger. Melt off the ISO and for the love of God don't put it in the freezer after you double boil it (interestingly enough, ceramics go from hot to freezing perfectly.)
