How to use a computer power supply to power a outlet strip for CFL lights?

Hi everyone. I am making a PC grow box for stealth reasons. I have already figured out how to wire my intake and exhaust fans to the power supply without the PSU being connected to a motherboard.

I used this tut here for that in case your wondering how: http://www.marijuanagrowing.eu/using-computer-power-supply-and-fans-for-ventilation-t597.html
(its a VERY good and easy to follow tutorial)

Now the problem is I don't want to have more than one plug coming out the back of the PC case so I want to wire the outlet strip to the PSU. So how would I do this? My CFL's are screwed into light to socket adapters and plugged into the outlet. Would I cut the end of the plug off? and where would I wire those to on the PSU?

if you know how and can help, please do.

Thanks.

a computer power supply doesnt supply AC voltage. you would have to splice into the voltage before it actually was converted to DC. if you have enough room that you could splice into the cable before the power supply actually received the power, that may work. i know it is a tight space in a power, so be careful, but it may be possible. make sure you still the power before ANYTHING, like switches, or fuses! you dont want your lights to blow the fuse to the power supply killing the fans!! there may actually be some type of switch or other electrical device which will let you do this too, but I dont know of any

fans are 12V DC and the power strip needs 110V AC/DC, so I'm not sure

Hmm... Okay, well thanks for your help. If anything I'll just have 2 cables coming out the back I guess (:

Thanks.

yeah, cant have all stealth, but you can hide the back easy enough, besides no body expects to see the back
