You can't. Hps bulbs need a special balast and socket. Sorry bro.

Hps comes in two flavours,E26 or E39 bases.That is medium and large mogul bases,no hps's fit a standard light bulb socket.You will also need a ballast to run that hps bulb.OPH

will it use alot ov electric a 250w

they make a 75wtt hps that fits in a regular light socket but you still need a ballast
