HSO's Blue Dream(one plant outdoors)

........not that anybody's watching, but, as I thought, I can pretty much say the two plants are lost to bud rot. Not even worth a picture.... They were supposed to be picked up yesterday by an elderly lady and made into lotion. Well, she ended up flooded out herself and now I am sure they're history--haven't even looked myself today. The news/weather claims we have received a 1/3 of our annual rainfall in 6 days..... I know it's been over 2" a day here, going on a week now. And I think it's hailing right now, lol. Starting tomorrow there is no rain in site....... I am truly glad I hadn't gotten my hopes up, except for the hopes of having a cool journal on them. So I apologize for and to anyone that followed this....but this is done, complete. Peace from the PNW,:peace: gman:mrgreen:

what the hell is lotion? lol. You should have just harvested the holy grail(looked like it would still get decent smoke) and turned the blue dream into a decent amount of hash or edibles.
It's all good anyways man, shit happens and 2 plants ain't a major but it is sad and it is still a decent effort for 47N. 47S in new zealand and you wouldn't of stood a chance man, over 2000mm a year down there with only averaging 18 degree summer highs.

Looks like next year is a covered outdoor season for you. you could easily force flower you plants earlier on to beat the rain like you're getting now.

Hey G-Man - Sorry to hear about the plants. The octagon room sounds very cool! Can you post some pics?

Back in 1975 I went to Maui to visit my father and he was watching some land for rich hippie friends of his. He was living in a huge teepee! On a far corner of the land they were building a octagonal house. The bottom floor was huge and had a deck that ran around the full circumference. The second story was a smaller version of the first story and there was a crow's nest on top of that. A spiral staircase twisted up through the middle.

Down in a gully along this property were some neighbors who lived in a school bus buried down low enough that the first step in was level with the ground. They had this huge goat shed and I would go down there and play with the goats and clean the place. Along one side was a bench for milking the goats. I got up on the bench and was sweeping off the bench when the broom hit something and made a weird rustling sound. There was a tapestry hanging from the ceiling and I looked inside. To my astonished eyes there was over three pounds of primo Maui Wowie drying in there. I grabbed a handful and moved everything around so nobody would notice. Ran a mile down the hill to my friend's house and we got skunked. One night I was up in the crows nest looking out over Maui from the side of the crater smoking a bomber and my dad taps me on the shoulder! I was so fukin scared! He said "aren't you going to share that?" and I did. He never asked where I got it :)

That was just another magic day on the Magic Islands. I hope to go back some day and live in the upcountry and have a farm and some goats and maybe a kid to clean my goat/drying shed :)

Cheers,
Mo

Thanks, and kind of middle of the road sat/indi is why I kept this pheno. I am hoping to be able to run her to the end of oct.....I use/used Eagle 20 and cut out a bunch of the undergrowth today for better air flow.....but if PM show up I am thinking mid oct.....we shall see;-)
How did your final product turn out if you used Eagle20?

It turned out a loss.....and I didn't end up using the EA20, but rather DM's Zone and Penetrator.....and it was just too late. I have used EA20 in veg if I don't have good ventilation and if the coco gets a dusting of PM, EA20 is the cure, imho......

I need to apologize to Mohican for dropping off and out of this thread..... I got way involved in the politics and BS of trying to save mmj, from I502......politics. If your underground, enjoy, at least you know where you stand.
Thanks for all the pics as well, Mohican! You had some bomb gear last year for sure!! So I 'll go find your latest thread and see what's up.

HSO's BlueDream is still a runner in my garden, albeit indo. I think I was lucky and got a champ phenol. Lots of great strains anymore, that's for sure!!

I used E20 just before my flip to flower. Did not spray during flower. They went they whole way with zero PM, but are the buds going to be okay to smoke?

Not trying to get in a pissing contest with anybody because I know there are those that would disagree. IMHO, in veg you are fine and I even recommend E20 as a preventative. Yes, imho, your buds are fine......

When it comes to my health I would rather do my own research....than to blindly follow some faceless forum users....but that is just me.........

I've read the msds, there is no doubt the spray itself is nasty.
Spraying e20 is gross. Gloves, safety measures, good ventilation, get the hell out after the spraying is done, etc...

But what about after it's used months down the road, 60 days, is it still present in plant and are the PM free nugs tainted with the chems, when just the veg saw the spray...
Who has experience with this.. Tested?
