Humidifier

That’s understandable. I appreciate the explanation did u get any coverage from taotronics and what is ur new humidifier? U don’t use hose to send the mist in. U just leave by bottom tent vents ?
I use the PROALLER Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier 5L off Amazon for $40 right now. It works incredibly well and uses tap water without creating white powder residue. The TaoTronics store probably would've covered it but I didn't ask for a refund and just moved on. The TaoTronics model you're getting can't use tap water and leaves a powder on everything.

I heard that if I filter water first then that won’t happen. I heard that’s a humidifier with calcium from tap water issue. The one u have if u use tap water without filtering it It don’t leave white residue ?

I wouldn't worry about a humidifier. Yes plants do grow a little faster with higher humidity. But then comes the worry of mold. I am all about maxing out yield and do pretty well but I try to stay under 60 percent humidty. I've recently had to burn my wooden tables I built, and buy metal frames, spray down my whole veg room with h202 multiple times. Then keep spraying plants for mold. Lost a tray of clones that was suppose to be my next run to mold. Got back on track and it happened again, cleaned veg room added a dehumidifier, and so far so good. Anyways what I'm saying is humidity above 60% is not needed, I had read an article months ago from either quest or anden that had said while plants might like the higher humidity that rooms and equipment don't handle it as well. I wish I had listened it would have saved me some time, money and stress.

Do u use distilled or tap water for humidifier
Most humidifiers work best with RO water otherwise you risk putting a thin coat of white dust all over everything in your room over time including the buds. I think the anden steam humidfier is one of the few that works good with tap water without leaving a film.
