I am having problems controling humidity in my grow tent which is 4wX8hX10L
l. I am only running one of the two 400w hps light because Im in the flowering stage. Before switching to 12/12 my humdity stayed at a constant 66%, but know for some reason it climbs a precent per day it seems and its up to 71% humidity. Can someone tell me whats happening and how to control it?

get a dehumidifier, the air outside/wherever you get your air from is more humid is my guess. what do you mean only using one hps because your flowering?

Just because some people read your post doesn't mean that many of them are capable of answering. You got a response within half an hour, so consider yourself lucky.

Help us help you better by letting everyone know where your air is coming from, where it is going and how much you are watering. Get a dehumidifier as darkdestruction420 suggested, and/or something like DampRid water absorbing crystals. Only water around when your lights go on now, definitely don't water with only a few hours left until the dark cycle begins.

Thanks to all

My air going into the room is coming for a ac duct unit. I water ever other day, and I water 6 hours before dark hours.

dehumidifier is about the only thing that will lower your humidity, and let me tell ya keeping your humidity that high will invite mold and mildew....You might also be overwatering, should be every 3-4 days

just open ur tent a throw a fan on for a while.

My dehumidifier is only 220W - cheap to run.
