I dont know man but the one I have only has one active ingredient 3% hydrogen peroxide. So I guess 97% water too

For those of you that say the 3% has other ingredients in it that could harm your plants:

- what are these other ingredients?
- any sources for this information, i.e. links or articles, or is this all just hearsay?
- what would the purpose of the manufacture adding any other ingredients other than water, H2O2 does pretty damn good job by it self, and its not like you go to the store and buy it because of a brand or anything special one does over the other. just sounds like a waste of money for a manufacture to do something like that. so it sounds like BS to me.

Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes at a rate of 1/2 of 1% per month if stored in a refridgerator. So, on a store shelf it will degrade faster. So, 3 % is never 3%, just like 35% is never 35%.

Any of the places that are pushing the health benifits of consuming it (I would not advise) say that the store brands are for external use only becuase they are not pure. I have not done any testing myself.

Why would they add anything other then water? Thats like saying weed dealers lace sacks when why would I sell buy one get one free?

If its in the brown bottle I dont care what it says on it it was bottled at the same place as the stuff you buy at the doller store or anywhere else.

Bottler ships it to distributer to label and sell with their store name or brand name on it. Im willing to bet on 2 companys actually bottling the stuff because ive only ever seen 2 other bottle styles with asorted sizes.

That is because they only sell 3% at the drug stores. Ther is only one kind slod in drug stores anymore. The government doesn't seem to be to fond of the 35% stuff.

If you are happy using 3%, please keep using it. No one ever told you you were wrong. I amjust going to go with what I have seen in the videos and read. Saying there is no difference between 3% THC and 35% THC in the product. A little goes a long way.

I never intended for this to becoe a fight over the value of 3%. I just was hoping someone could help me find a local source for the strong stuff.

Short answer is that I have looked and called over 30 places in California (both northern and southern) and, finding NO ONE in California to buy from (including chemical supply stores), I purchased from the Guardian of Eden store in Florida (I believe thats where it was located). It was expensive but highly concentrated (I got tired of going into Wal-Mart and buying 30 bottles of the 2% mixture). If I was still using Hydrogen Peroxide to combat green algae, I would buy from that place again.

Good luck on your operation.

Like im trying to tell him unless you know the people bottling it in this country or your a vet or hospital its not gonna happen. Plants or anything need it that strong and your gonna add water anyways.

2 bottlers 1 source. I mean coke sells moe Dr.pepper then anybody sells h202 and they only have few bottlers with most factorys being distribution.

I would be carefull buying that stuff lol. You do know what year it is right and what you can make with that stuff there is a reason its hard to find remember the federeal building bombing? Keep in mind you are buying all this stuff on a normal basis being a grower and thats the LAST knock on the door you want.

The fedral bombing was ANFo, not TATP involved. Even Terrorist call that "The Sun of Satan". TATP was used in the British bombing and the spain bombings. Mcveigh did not even use TATP in his detonators, he stole commercial TNT and blasting caps from a contruction site.

And you can mail order, I have some on the way, just looking for a cheaper local source. I never ment to have so many people get mad. It may not be easy to find, but you can, and it is leagal to purchase in any amount

Do you guys use H2O2 throughout your grow? Do yall add it to your nutrient solution or just when you clean your res or flush?

I found some 12%, the best I could find...I used it to flush and clean because my PH was fucked and the girls were getting locked out.

Yes all threw grow. If a res is sitting anywhere with water it should have h202 in it. For hydro anyways I dunno about soil but I dont think it could hurt.

Use it so you never get algea and root rot not to cure it you should never get it. Bugs are they same way if your not being preventable its gonna happen.

So if I'm using 4 gallons of nutrient solution in my res, and I have 12% H2O2, How much do I use per gallon?

with 35% it is like 1 to 1 1/2ml pergallon. You would have to do the math.

Wait, duh... Sorry. Use 3 to 4 1/2 ml per gallon.

You can use "up to a max of"

5ml/gal of 35%

20ml/gal of 10%

15ml/gal of 12%

I recommend half the dose of the above quantities for general use but the maximum can be used without harm and is safe even for cuttings, and small clones.

I rounded down, and maintained the measurements in increments of 5ml for ease of use.

Anybody here live near a pool store?

If they are a "baquacil" brand dealer, you should be able to get 27% hydrogen peroxide for <$20 a gallon. It is the baquacil brand "oxidizer" product. It is supposed to be stabilized hydrogen peroxide, whatever that means.

Here's a link to the manufacturer page: http://www.archchemicals.com/Fed/BAQCIL/Products/coreProducts.htm

Most pool stores should carry something comparable. If they advertise "chlorine free" pool care, then they will likely have this. Some other brand names of comparable products are "soft swim" and "revacil". I think leslie's also has their own generic brand of the same stuff.

Any biguanide/phmb based pool sanitizer system should offer a high % peroxide shock/oxidizer product.

Hope this helps somebody.

Anyone have a good mix ratio for H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide). Got some girls in soil and want to try this for a little more oxygen to the roots. They are flowering at the moment and dont want to shock them. I hear this kills good bacteria, dont wana do that either. Also using Tiger bloom, Budswell, Super Thrive nutrients.

i wouldn't use it in soil since, as you say, you'll be killing off the good little microorganisms along with the bad...
keep yer rhizosphere safe and healthy (and maybe check out SPT too... 'stuff's great!)
for more oxygen, why not just aerate your solutions with a little cheapo fishtank bubbler and an airstone?
cheers
