I dont give a fuck about your bin. Youre wrong about salts in organic amendments. Straight up wrong. AGAIN.

Did you actually read that? It says it's rare. And it's caused by compost that's NOT PREPARED PROPERLY and plants with salt build up are composted. None of my plants have salt build up. It takes months to make my vermicompost

So you are wrong again

Yeah I said it and it's true

No the salt thing is correct. Please tell me how organic living soil creates salt build up. (No bottled nutes).

The brix level part is correct too.. ever heard of high brix farming. Plants use sugars and minerals. That creates a higher brix levels. So with the sugars in the sst and minerals in the sst, ferments, and rock dusts. My brix levels are increased. And can be checked with a refractometer

I only use molasses in my ferments
When people talk about salts and synthetic nutrients, they don't mean sodium. Calcium nitrate is a salt, potassium nitrate, magnesium sulfate, potassium phosphate, basically all your nitrates, sulfates, phosphates, you see on a label, water soluble salts. It doesn't mean table salt.

A salt is what happens when you combine a base and acid, see here for more: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_(chemistry)

Potassium is not a sugar. That's just silly,

No comment on brix levels, but I am familiar with Doc Bud. All I will say is sometimes we do the right thing for the wrong reasons, and it's often hard to know why something is successful, just that it is.

I don't add any any phosphates or sulfates or nitrates or acids to my soil. I don't use bottled nutes. Bottled nutes are not organic they can't be. Even the ones labeled organic still have phosphoric acid and calcium nitrates

Again I said how does living soil create salts not bottled nutes.

I actually had my soil tested at hydro scape. They're a huge landscaping company.

Id be interested to hear your takeon doc buds approach. I had good results w his kit a few years ago. Since then i work directly with john frank and sometimes Astera.

Dude, I'm just telling you what a salt is, not arguing with your method or results. No beef here.

Your basic understanding of chemistry and biology is nonexistent.

Bottled nutes can be organic. Stop talking out of your ass with knuckleheaded generalizations.

John kempf is one of the leading voices in high brix gardening."Have you heard of high brix"? AEA makes organic bottled nutes.

Keep your politics in politics don't muck up people's grow journals

If you don't like someone or don't like their grow journal content find one you like

Please state for the record that you believe it is inappropriate to correct errors of biology and chemistry in a posters thread.

Phosphoric acid is a chemical. It's used as ph stabilizer in almost every bottled nutrient. The ones that don't use phosphoric acid use either folic acid or calcium nitrates for their ph stabilizer. Those are chemicals too. Therefore they are not organic. Then minerals are neither organic nor chemical

Check with your state dept of agriculture for the ingredients in your bottles. Or have them tested yourself

I find it funny that you just joined the forum recentley then come on here to talk politics only. The only posts you made in any grow section are on my thread only. All your other posts are in the politics section and every post is trolling. So I don't think you even grow anything. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that.

Looks like early on set of magnesium deficiency. I've never consumed neem so I can't speak on it.
Thanks for your input Hy.
Yeah, just see or hear of folks treating their plants with neem, neem cake and what not...
And I've seen some labels stating can be used on vegetables right up to the day of harvest. Now recently been reading that might not be a good idea...

Dood! Your RIFT looking SAWeeeet!

Sorry to see your Garden Thread get derailed.

I use ahimsa Indian neem cake in my soil and the ahimsa Indian neem oil for spraying during veg. Not the dyna gro crap. I order from build a soil.

The oils are bad to inhale but probably not bad to digest if prepared properly . I have used neem tooth paste before. That I bought at sprouts market. They add peppermint to it too.

Neem oil breaks down in about 3 days. I don't use it during flower because I do not want to clog the stomata. I use less then recommended in the instructions too.

Thanks for the complements.

Looking great. She's real chunky for you. A surprising yielder maybe. Day 60 could be it. I harvested her early at 56. And my buddy was on day 60, and it was further, but not the farthest she could have gone.

That's with the older model cobs. When I'm able to upgrade them. That strain will go nuts. I do have the panel only sitting a little more than a foot away from the canopy.

I just use the active aqua air pumps from the hydro shop .I have 1 stone in each sip

. @SomeGuy us running flexible air stones/ tubing in his sips which would probably be better.

I have one fabric pot sip (octopot design) I'm not running any air stones. Just labs in the resi. But I recently just transplanted into it. So it's to early to tell anything
