I Agree With The Republicans

I once had an LLC all by my lonesome, considered an s-corp as well. If you went to high school, you'd know that individuals can indeed own a variety of corporations.
LLC stands for Limited Liability Company. It's not a corporation.

Like I said before, you should've stayed in school.

There are three basic forms of business ownership, a proprietorship and partnership, both of which don't protect the owner from the debts of the business. The other form of ownership is to be incorporated (a person under the law), this limits the liability of the stock owners. Corporations can be private or public and all limit the legal and financial liability of their owners. LLC Limited Liability Corporation or company, many jurisdictions require corporations to declare themselves as LLC if the call themselves a company.

Limiting liability and raising capital was the original purpose of corporations and why they are social institutions and considered persons under the law. LLC means corporation, it can't mean anything else under English common law (American too).

i agree as long as the wealthy pay their fair share.
Compromise with Republicans means we have to accept the minimum any of them are willing to allow.

Yes, we must. We must all come together and be the United States of America. For unity.

Yes says me. I worked fast food jobs when I was in High School. It's not a $15 an hour job. If people want to make more than some teeneager then they need to get some job skills. Even back then I was able to move up into management and was an Assistant Manager at a Burger King when I was 18. All the lazy employees with no motivation were jealous. Making comments like X has been here longer and should have gotten the promotion. Well X was a lazy ass with no desire to taker on any additional responsibility so X continued to work the fry station while I sat in the back office counting the tills and interviewing prospective new employee's.

There is a culture of lazy in America. People that lack the desire to improve themselves and their financial conditions should not just be given a big payday for doing the bare minimum and taking the easiest jobs with no responsibility. I've worked my ass off all my life. I worked for minimum wage at low skill jobs. I wanted morte so I did something about it and improved my job skills. If others don't have the motivation to get shit done and improve their lives that's their problem. But forcing employers to pay a minimum wage of $15 an hour for jobs that require no skill and a blind monkey could do is just ridiculous.

No assumptions. Just a lifetime of observations. $15 an hour minimum wage is just plain stupid and would do more harm to the economy than good. That added cost would be passed onto the consumer or many businesses would close their doors. Some businesses are operating on extremely low profits. Raising the minimum wage would wipe them out. FACTS not assumptions.

I don't believe in trickle down. But I also don't think that a $15 an hour minimum wage is appropriate. Industries that require skilled labor already pay more than that. Those that don't require skilled labor like fast food, landscaping, and others should not be forced to raise their base pay to $15 an hour.
It doesn't really matter what you think. Or what you earned as a kid. Or what you think that flipping burgers is worth.

What matters is what kind of country we want going forward. Is it the one we have now, where people are designated as essential workers so that they can keep the stores open, paying essential workers minimum wage without access to the generous unemployment benefits offered to others in the relief packages? Meanwhile people who aren't essential workers and make much more than the minimum -- stay home, safe and well cared for through government largesse.

you think small.

when was the last time the republicans 'allowed' a federal increase at all? are we to wait until the republican 'allow' us anything? 'allow' segregation, Jim Crow, black vote..you going to keep waiting for them to 'allow' us? then you be waiting alone.

if we 'allowed' them their wishes it would be 1865 again, Mike Pence would be hung and his body dragged through the streets of DC on January 6th a Republican Vice President of the United States of America by President Donald J. Trump insane crowd the world watched that madman as he stood by.

They would also have a place called Greater Idaho..i believe your land sits smack in the middle of that doesn't it, Fogdog?

make a toll road and don't let the rebels pass.

I agree with you that we must do what Republicans say because now is the time for us to come together.

Compromise = Lowest common denominator

Who says the minimum wage must be 7 buck and change.

Why not four bucks? For the sake of this country, we must do it.

I lived in Idaho for ten years and I loved the state. A lot of good people lived there too. People in Oregon are less friendly.

Democrats only want to work together when they want Republican votes. They are proving that right now with this 1.9 Trillion dollar bill. So much for bipartisanship.

if you are poor not everything is priced the same..those awesome car deals on teevee are for 'well qualified buyers only'..only a small percentage of americans are considered to be in that category.

no one is given the chance to save..just your basic rent food clothing? work rinse repeat. the CBO has it at $30K to survive in america.

$15/hourly gives us $31,200..we are so behind the eight-ball that i think it preposterous to suggest an equation that has human interaction as proof positive unlike the math that tell us there are 11 dimensions.

totally not the same.

Starbucks like McD a symbol of america a venti of whatever is $5.20, whether it's West Virginia or Cali. but the farmers cry poor mouth while receiving government subsidies which makes them welfare queens!
Min wage is for 16 yr olds. Not a living wage. This site is full of fucking morons. Perhaps THC does have some negative consequences.....

Exactly. I think the federal minimum wage should go up a little, but $15 is ridiculous. It should be handled by the states.

$15 in New York isn't shit, but $15 an hour in somewhere like South Dakota is a lot. It should be based on the cost of living.

I'm getting tired of all the handouts.
The fact that blue states financially support red ones, it is obvious certain states can't handle taking care of its citizens without socialism
Agreed?
