I am really curious to see if some one is willing to try a simple graft.

So I've read about people having success grafting, but I have never seen anyone with a thread about it, or any pictorial information.
Any way, does any one want to see if they can do it? I think it would be really sweet to have a mother with 5 or 6 different strains on her. :P

grafting?????????????
Basically you take a cutting from one plant, make a cut where it can be stuck into in a different one. Tape/Tie it up so the two are pretty strongly connected. In some kinds of plants this can work as they will recognize the cutting as being similar to themselves and "repair" the damage - the place where you connected the two.

I would assume that if this worked with marijuana, it would already have been done.

I am sure it has been done, I would just be tickled to death to see it done.

I've done it with apple trees several times. Grafting is a cool idea, but really not practical for most people. If you have a lot of different strains, you probably have the room for enough mothers. You would probably have to graft plants that are very similar to have much success with it, or growing all these types together.

You strike great points, my father did the same with the apple tree in their backyard. I like things that may not be practical necessarily.
